Wow Drakeo started talking about noticing his OCD tendencies and his anxiety problems in solitary. I was wondering about that with him constantly rearranging all of his shit on the No Jumper podcast. Adam asked him about the stuff on the table in front of him but Drakeo didn’t talk about it. You can tell he feels more comfortable and is able to open up during this interaction.

Pretty much all my homies who are street minded and grew up a certain way would never share about having a mental health disorder or anything like that because it's seen as weakness and they don't want anyone callin them a weirdo and shit. One of the most valid things I learned spending time in the streets that's stood true in my mind years and years after I became aware of it, is that the hardest dude you'll meet in the streets is the ones who are themselves and not afraid to do things different or like different things. The one who immediately comes off as the toughest, punkin people and tryna make it known to everyone around how hard he is, 9 times out of 10 is trying to prove to THEMSELVES how hard they are because they live in fear. The hardest dudes I've ever met are some of the easiest to get along with people (at least in comparison with their peers). They aren't afraid to stand out or move in their own way because they know if anyone tries to punk them it's not gonna go well for that person. Over time people learn not to fuck with those people and they don't have to worry about looking hard cus it's a known thing. I don't have any doubt Drakeo has nothing to prove though, I kind of got off track with that rant lol but I think Drakeo just wasn't tryna label himself with a mental disorder on those podcasts that are gonna air to a demographic that's typically more closed off to talking about that type of thing.
@deepwebmp33 жыл бұрын
03 Greedo is a good example of the type of person I'm talking about though. You can tell that dude has nothing to prove to himself or others by the way he carries himself and the interests and influences he openly speaks about drawing from... #FREEGREEDO

Just got to the part of the podcast where Drakeo talks about the book, "Outwitting The Devil" by Napoleon Hill. He's talks about people who are easily influenced and follow the path laid out by others and that is the perfect example of exactly what I was tryna speak on in my past two comments. Greedo especially strikes me as the furthest thing I can think of from being a "Drifter".

27:00 the most introspective Drakeo I've ever seen. I appreciate that he was a free thinker and you can really tell that. I wish he would have escaped from the perpetual negativity in his life and would have got some help for his mental well-being. He was clearly hurt and angry, and he was a deep thinker which you can tell through his music and the way he talks. No wonder he stayed on lean and other substances. Can't tell you how much that portion really resonated with me and made me realize that even the toughest people are human at their core and have something to say. Edit: It's DrakeO not Draco...

(Why the fuck did I type this lol) everyone’s different and same with anxiety, it can vary person to person and u never now what’s going on inside they’re head but yeah I can see the social anxiety. But it’s obvious that drakeo was being a little more open about himself and didn’t seem like he was acting a certain way to portray himself for the media (like lots of people do when they get interviewed on huge channels) he even brought up how media effects people so much when he was talking about Covid and how most people (or drifters as he called them) are super affected by media just because it’s media and they don’t think for themselves. I have anxiety/panic disorder and have had it since I was really young and TO ME it looked like he was having a little social anxiety when asked certain questions but definitely not anxiety that fucks up every day normal tasks or makes someone do weird things they may not want to do/ they normally wouldn’t do.
