Branch is the reason why I continued to watch the trilogy. He is such a funny, kinda dorky character but also smart and rational, which is a great balance in his relationship with Poppy. Those moments with her were perfect! Branch is also so well-developed and is IMO the best part of these films. One of my favorite dreamworks characters. Plus, who can deny Justin Timberlakes beautiful singing voice😍.

Branch is ironically an amazing character… even before he got his colors back, he still kept Poppy’s invites, showing he admired how she still invited him despite his stubbornness. I love how he doesn’t immediately have the same personality as the other trolls. I know there were many theories that he’s not a pop troll, but I think that defeats the purpose. Many people can be of the same color but live through different experiences. That’s why Branch is so different, he’s lived a different life than the other trolls, constantly being separated from his family. He’s sassy, sarcastic, realistic, a bit pessimistic, but he’s also passionate and he cares. It’s refreshing to have a character with a good heart that isn’t always overly happy.

you Hit the nail on the head mate and it is really sad just how different his life experiences were to most other Pop Trolls dude legit went through abandonment and tragedy and extreme Grief and PTSD for years all by himself since he was a little kid. all the while everyone else in pop Village just seemed to instantly forget about the Bergens and move on with their lives straight away so Branch had no one to relate to when he was a kid which is Heart-breaking as Hell tbh.

Okay let’s see first branch and his brothers lose ( either eaten or missing)one of or both parents right after branch is born, then his brothers go there separate ways abandoning him to be with his grandma, then I would think after they went there separate ways he joins the other band , then when he was a kid his grandma got eaten and was alone ( mix with probably telling the other band he quit) and isolated himself for 20 years, branch deserve better 😢
