I don't think there has ever been a product like the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream. It's a one stop shop for skincare, SPF, Colour Corrector and Foundation without the fuss of having to wait in between products to allow them to sink into your skin....and although The Maybelline Urban Cover isn't identical as it doesn't have as many nourishing 'Anti-aging' ingredients....could it be just as good for a third of the price????? Surely not.....

I just checked the ingredients of both these products. Unfortunately for those of us that break out or feel burning from chemical sunscreen, we will have to pay more for the It cosmetic products. They use the physical sunscreens of Titanium Dioxide and Zinc oxide. Maybelline is using chemical sunscreens Homoslate, Octisalate and Octocrylene. I was confused as I didn't recognize these as being used often, like octinoxate and oxybenzone. I encourage anyone with sensitive skin to do some research on the ingredients in the Maybelline product. Test on a small patch of skin. Unfortunately for our pocketbooks, the Dream Urban cover is Not a dupe for It CC creams.

Mineral sunscreens break me out, so I'm glad its chemical. That said i believe it has alcohol which is sad. Have to check that out

I always thought cosmetics were hugely overpriced. This shows how drugstore products are stepping up to give us a good product for less. Please try this on your mum. Would love to see this on more mature skin.

I use the IT cosmetics cc and I know that you get the added benefit of skincare but like you say, we get that in our skincare routine and don’t apply enough of the foundation to actually make a massive difference. The problem with “a little goes a long way” with a cc cream is that you will not get the rated spf with the amount you apply. To get the stated spf you would have to apply more than would be aesthetically appropriate.

I've been watching and waiting for this to hit the US store shelves for months and today, July 1, 2019 I FINALLY got my hands on a tube! $9.99 at Target stores. Not too many shades to choose from. I had to grab a bottle of my perfect shade in the Maybelline Fit Me Dewy & Smooth to try and match it. Can't wait to try it out tomorrow! :)

Bev Royston yes but the it cc has a mineral suncreen vs the chemical one in the maybelline (chemical irritates my skin) also the maybelline has alcohol as one the first 5 ingredients. This was a pass for my skin needs

Thank you so much for the review! I like the Maybelline...except under the eyes. Under the eyes it look really dehydrated compared to the It CC. Other than that I would agree the Maybelline is beautiful, maybe I would use a It CC product under my eyes or something really hydrating.

I'm a big Maybelline fan, so shall probably get this when it comes out in Bilbao. Never heard of IT cosmetics so can't really opine, but the texture reminds of my Nuxes CC cream, which is pretty stodgy and can't really be bothered to use it, since I usually have to thin it with Nuxes dry oil. Thanks for sharing as always. Great to know both products are SPF 50, since the SPF can often be a clincher.

I love the it cosmetics CC cream!!! Although it is a bit heavy, it is after all a CREAM foundation, but I don't mind it because I find thicker foundations to wear off slower on my skin. Hopefully they release the Maybelline Urban Cover foundation soon in the US!!

I Love the it Cosmetics CC creme. I have dry skin so im surprised to hear lots of people find this heavy, on me its so moisturising and nourishing, it never feels like a heavy foundation. I never really wear foundation. This is really interesting though because I use a lot of those skin care products in the morning anyway and I also thought the benefit of it cosmetics CC was the added SPF 50! I will need to hunt this down xxx

Some time ago (no too long, several months) you reviewed Maybelle Dream Satin Liquid which has worked so well for me. I do need med-to-full coverage but all I've tried (this same IT product, Este Lauder and others) & all looked cakey on me. Maybelle Dream Satin Liquid is med coverage and to my surprise, I found Physicians Formula Spotlight Illuminating primer (quite shimmering) works great under the foundation & it became full coverage! I'm excited to use this new Maybelle foundation once it's available in US. THANK YOU

So happy to have a product like the new Maybelline foundation hitting the market. I love everything about the IT cc Cream, and am so bummed that there is no shade match for me. I am fair skinned with pink undertones and the IT CC shades are WAY too yellow. Up until now, it felt like those of us with no shade match were missing out on a potential holy grail product. I can't wait to try the Maybelline when it comes out in the U.S. The Maybelline Urban foundation is supposed to hit the U.S. later this spring.

I have larger lips and I over line a little. I get a lot of compliments on my look. You look great with a little overlining. I think the Maybelline side looks so much better. The Maybelline foundation can be mixed with a luminizer or a little bit of serum.

IT cc has citrus oils which are photo sensitizing - also collagen in too large of a molecule to be effective. I really want to try urban cover. Thank you so much for reviewing

The spf 50 is great but you'd need a much bigger amount for total protection. Also, spf should be reapplied every two hours as one application in the morning does not protect you all day. Great comparison review. Can't wait to try it when it arrives in the states in April. Hope your mom is better.

I use a lot of anti aging serums so would not worry about it being in my foundation. Having the spf is a big plus for me..and the price difference. The IT CC cream is $48.00 in Canada which is a little pricey...so I would definitely try the Maybelline..thanks so much for this review.

I have combo to oily skin but enjoy the IT Cosmetics CC+. I set it with Laura Mercia Translucent powder and blot as needed) Note : I use the IT Cosmetics as my moisturizer in my oily spots so there is less shine by days end.

Yes,yes and yes. Maybelline looks better. I am not a foundation fan and I have started using one, in the last three weeks, just to ...I don't know. Maybe to be able to say I use on. It is Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Aqua Foundation, a very light to light coverage and I think you have the same feel of lightness with this Maybelline.
