Another secret tip (that's not so secret anymore): If a lot of people comment on your video (that aren't bots), there's also a chance that the video will get recommended to the algorithm. I had one video spike to almost 1,000 views even though there were a lot of hate comments and 80% of people disliked my video. 😂

I recently figured out that in my niche it takes at least a good year for a single video to potentially become an outlier video. Checked dozens of other artist channels and their best videos are usually between 1-4 years old. So…some niches take time. Make evergreen content and it might just hit those high views you’re looking for. But never stop learning ya’ll 😊❤

Well, my editors at editing machine did it! Some effects you can create from scratch, others from templates, and sometimes you use backgrounds you can buy or download and put your stuff in front of me. The possibilities are endless!

Hey Trevor, one thing I think you're missing here is that subscribers do matter in this sense (at least if the messages in the studio are accurate): KZbin first sends a video to your subs, if they don't click through and watch, it seems like further testing is ended, i.e. getting a high number of views seems unlikely if your subs don't click and watch (this would be the same issue if the sub count is small or large). At least this is what KZbin told me on a recent video that outperformed others, it was sent to more people because the initial testing with subs was positive. Just another thing to be aware of, imho.

You do all of it but the 3d angle. Add a mask to any plain still image to make a rectangle. Lower opacity to about 35%. Add three text layers and animate them on. Position them inside the box you make. Select all layers and make a compound clip. Add rebound swing effect so it floats.

I don't think the quality of the image is much different - they just have different features. Camatasia is great for screen recordings and also good for adding effects to the screen recordings - like cursor effects and keystrokes and zooming in and out on the screen. OBS is probably better for livestreaming - and it's free!!

Trevor, would be curious to know your thoughts on this coming from a brand new small KZbinr. I believe that a non-negligible issue is literally the first couple of hours after my videos get published, there are almost no impressions at all. Like so few that it’s nearly useless. The video will start getting impressions usually within 12 to 24 hours… but by then I think it’s too late. When people scroll by a video that was published 24+ hours ago and has say, 30 views, they’re just going to keep on scrolling. I’d be curious for your thoughts.

How exactly do you use Editing Machine? Do you just film a raw video and send to them? Or do you use capcut and get it as close to your vision as you can than send to them?

I send them raw video footage, give them a little bit of direction, and let them do their thing! In the beginning, I would have to make more revisions, but they have learned to edit like me and they usually get it perfect the first version now. Which is insane.

I went to your channel. You only have 1 video, and it does not suck at all. However, you need to produce more videos...and you need to reply to the comments that your viewers are making. That video had quite a few comments, and several requests for y0u to make a video about a specific person. You should acknowledge those requests, and I think you would have done well if you did produce that video. Make what your viewers ask for and you know that video will get views.
