Funny the commentators said they couldn’t believe he’d ask that. Then he moves the guy and everyone screams sour grapes. He did his job. If he’d laid back everyone would be bitching about that. call it a hunch, that would probably include his boss,”paw paw”, as you folks call him, and his sponsors. @@jaredkinneyjr I can completely understand why so many people feel that way. The real shame is, it's not representative of what the Xfinity garage is like at it's best. I just watched Halie Deegans video "History Made In My First NASCAR Xfinity Race!" and the positivity and support from everyone is outstanding. The incentive structure NASCAR has built, turns many great people in the community, into cutthroat competitors. NASCAR could fix this with bad a sportsmanship flag. NASCAR fans know the difference between Rubbin is Racin, and bad sportsmanship.

@@AvenEngineer An intentional wrecking of someone to get the win should not be allowed. I know many times it could be attributed to just hard racing which might make it difficult to come to a clear determination in those cases, but this one was very obvious and is only goig to continue as long as NASCAR and other sanctioning bodies condone it. It happens way too often and it should be stopped. My guess, it brings in money. Just look at all the crap that happens at Boman Gray. Full house there almost everyweek.

When your teammate is in the lead and your running second on the last lap Your job is to run second and bring both cars home. @@stevehefel7123 Yes, but there are instances where you can get your teammate loose (even with an actual bump) to get the win, but that's only when it's not going to cause your teammate to lose positions to other teams, and most importantly not going to automatically screw up the chance for your team to have 2 cars in the championship 4. This was definitely not one of the instances, though. And, that was no bump, that was a hood-wrinkling smash. At some point I'd like to see a hood-wrinkling smash to a face for that snot-nosed punk.

It's NOT Gibbs deliberately wrecking Jones that's the problem. Last lap, going for it's acceptable, especially on a short track. The problem is Gibbs wrecking his TEAMMATE who needed a win to race for the championship in Phoenix. Gibbs was already in. In the grand scheme of things Gibbs' win is meaningless. Ty cost grandpa a second shot at the championship. Now Dale Jr has THREE shots! If Ty drove for anyone but grandpa he'd be unemployed right about now!

If I were Dale Jr and Justin Allgaier I'd go out and find the biggest gaudiest gift basket I could find and send to to Ty Gibbs at JGR headquarters with a note that reads "Thank you so very much, we couldn't have done it without you, kid" Grandpa Gibbs can't be very happy with the fact that his grandson robbed him of having 2 cars in the final 4 instead of just 1 .... It was selfish and immature and he simply is not ready to be in the Cup series at this point ..... Maybe in 2 or 3 years when he grows up but not in 2023. Of course I already figured that out after he tried to wreck Ty Dillion on pit road and came within a couple of feet of wiping out Christopher Buscher's crew and a couple of NASCAR Officials. Why he wasn't suspended from Cup for the rest of the season for that stunt I can only attribute to favoritism and Grandpa having a lot of stroke ......

He says the same thing over and over. This kid gets everything he wants because he is part of a wealthy family and he does not have to play by the rules. NASCAR probably will not even hold him accountable for intentionally Wrecking another because of his family's wealth.

If I was Gibbs, I would have said “ I’m hear to win, and this isn’t a team sport. IDGAF about anyone on the track, goodnight” let people race how they want to race.

I think a lot of people are missing the obvious reason Gibbs will not win a championship next week, he rubbed the whole garage the wrong way. Historically, in the championship race the field gives the four drivers all the room they need, because they do not want to be the reason someone doesn't win the championship. I don't see that happening for Ty next weekend, I see drivers racing him hard whether it be for position or to go 3 laps down. The Nascar garage has always had a way of policing itself, and I see a hard lesson coming next weekend.

Kenny….ever heard the name Brian Bosworth?? Our team played against him twice. Brian was a overwhelming tempered head person. In other words “a villain”. And everyone tuned in. Bottom line, EVERY SPORT NEEDS A VILLIAN. Ty Gibbs is that guy!!!

I 100% agree that Ty Gibbs has to go for the win IF he can pass him without wrecking him. A rub or a bump is acceptable,e but a punch is not.

Does it come down to, what Ty Gibbs wants ? He’s part of a team. You have to do what’s best for the team. This is the result of too many time outs as a little kid and not enough licks with the paddle !!! Aka :Just another spoiled brat !!

This is another example of the silver spoon rich kids that make up most of this sport now, not all but most. These new kids come into the sport with the best equipment and have no idea the blood, sweat and tears it took to make it in this sport. Their family money bought their way into this sport. These kids never spent the week working a regular job and working on a race car at night to be able to race on the weekend. This sport has been turned over to a bunch of spoil brats throwing temper tantrums if they don't get their way. The only thing they know about racing is peddle to the metal and run you over if you get in the way.
