Brandon Nimmo is the definition of a team player. And I'm glad he remembered the fans in this interview. He's said before that playing in front of the fans at Citi Field is energizing and helps the team's mojo. He doesn't forget he's playing for those people. He's just an all-around good guy.

I remember following Nimmo coming up. He would get to AA, struggle for a month, figure it out...get to AAA, struggle for a month, figure it out...he had some injury and adjustments to do to stick to the majors, but the fact that he is here and Conforto isn't just proved what I saw. This guy works...and I think he is STILL trying to improve and not just maintain...Glad he is on our team.
