One doesn't have to "Read your minds" when your showing and revealing to us in your own videos, interviews, and through your own actions, what you attest to. Then have the nerve to state, "I have somewhat of a super-power, in that I don't care what viewers say about what we're doing". Lost in your pride, claiming that you, perhaps for the first time ever, are the ones to present the "Authentic Jesus", while at the same time acknowledging that 95% of the show is fiction, created by unbelievers and heretics whose theology declares all Biblical Christians are heretics who follow a false Christ and look to a corrupted Bible. Respectfully, the lack of discernment is through the roof! Now, your not a ministry? Whatever happened to, the Lord told you while you were in Israel, that your characters would be how people would come to visualize Him and His friends, and He wouldn't let you mess it up? How does one respond to that calling by yoking themselves to non-believers and heretics, in a mission to reach 1 billion with the "Authentic Jesus"? How do you deface your own billboards and create a site like the Chosensux.com and call it Holy Spirit led? A 5% Scriptual Jesus, presented by unbelievers is not the "Authentic Jesus"! Respectfully, enough with the circular arguments defending all your poor decisions.

Ministering to the un-believers and Heretics creating the show, and those who attest to belonging to Christ, that make a habit of defending their transgression of His Commandments. One should ask themselves a few questions; who among the show's owners/Producers are compromising? Is it the Mormons whose theology declares all Christians regardless of the denomination as Apostates following a false Jesus and corrupted Bible, or the Catholic whose Catechism declares all Protestants "Anathema", or the attesting Baptist who declares Mormons worship the same, Jesus? How do those who neither know the "Authentic Jesus" or belong to Him, present the "Authentic Jesus"? When the Lord declares in His Commandments that we're not to create images of Him, is He lying? When He says we're not to partner/yoke ourselves to Heretics, is He lying? When He says we are not to add to His Word, is He lying? When Dallas states that imagery that attempts to stay true to the Scriptures is boring and unrelatable, do you agree? Do you find the "Authentic Jesus" declared in the Bible unrelatable and boring? I pray that the show's Owners, Producers, President, cast, crew, and distribution company come to know the "Authentic Jesus". I pray they will stop using satirical images of Satan, blasphemous billboards, and their website thechosensux.com, attempting to reach GenZ. I pray that they didn't purposefully show this flag during "Pride month" to reach the 1 in 4 young people today that attest to belonging to the LGBTQ community, in the same way, they use blasphemous imagery in their campaign to reach them. I pray viewers will use more discernment. I pray the show will stop labeling millions of its viewers as "Haters, dividers, and Pharisees when they make Biblical statements of accountability. I pray they won't continue to go "Woke" as a result of now yoking themselves to Lionsgate. I pray they spend wisely the 150 million dollars they were given by the Come and See Foundation and stop leading viewers to believe the show is crowd-funded. I pray Dallas stops saying that God told Him his characters are how people will come to visualize Him and His friends, and that He won't let Him mess it up. I pray he will stop responding to that asserted God-given ministry, by hiring unbelievers who neither know nor belong to Jesus.

It’s only a TV show. Its not a Christian production. Less than half the staff are religious and even less than that are Christian. They have a follow HR/employment law, Union contracts, OSHA laws regarding the workplace. They cannot be prejudice. During behind the scenes clips, employees are shown as how they are in their real life and that includes all walks of life in their workplace. This show is only based upon the Bible not a word-by-word documentary. If this show wanted to by a Christian production they would have hired Christian only actors and crew, which mean it would suck. They hired the best they can get. That means you get workers from all humankind. If you want religion go to church.

I Hope so that God uses this series for rescuing souls. Nevertheless, Jonathan Roomie Said, he asked a dead person in the graveyard if he should take the role. Why didnt he ask Jesus? It so ironic that "christians" wants to play god. God is powerfull and work in mysterious ways. We dont know what God's plan is for the non christians working on the set. God can use this amazing show, inside and outside the casting crew and set, to bring them to Christ. Judge the show from its final product (the show), not from the casts outside of their characters in the show or what someone has on their personal equipment who probably accidentally got captures in a bts clip. The cameraman has been there since the start of season 3 and so far I dont see anything in the show that promotes that agenda. If the final product (the show) has that problem, then that's when I'll stop watching.

I just saw this. I had just watched Dallas discussing the pride issue. I really like Brandon Potter. I really like Vanessa. I have many friends who I like who are not Christian. So if I am connecting with them based on their faith, that’s a different ball game. But if I’m connecting with them at work or somewhere else, then it has nothing to do with their faith. And what’s interesting to me is that Jesus Christ unites and this show is all about Jesus Christ. Isn’t it interesting how He is uniting every single person as a big family on the show? He is the unifier here. And yes, he is using the biblical information in the show here to draw people to himself. Actually, the more I think about this the more I realize He knows exactly what he’s doing. Thank you. Pretty awesome!

I am a God fearing, God loving, Christian. Correct me if I am wrong, but when Jesus was eating at the home of Matthew the pharisees asked him why he was hanging out with such sinners. Jesus told them that he was there for sinners. They are the people who need him the most. So my question is that if Jesus spent time with sinners in order to save them, then who are we to condemn anyone? Shouldn't we be reaching out to save them without condemnation?

Yes! And it has been happening. The actor who plays Zebadee said in an interview that he came to faith as a direct result of being on the set of the Chosen and the witness of the believers there. God is working on the set as well as through the tv show. Dallas has said that Nick is not the only person on set this has happened to. They just don’t give out that personal information unless that person wants to, Nick did so they shared a copy of the interview. The guys who built the sets wrote Bible verses all over the walls before they painted them and prayed that one of the actors would be saved, and that it would be the catalyst for others to be saved. Turns out the first one they did this to was the house of Zebadee set.

The apology from the two actors after telling true Christian believers and financial supporters that they are not welcome and are not their fans if they criticized one of their crew members who was caught red-handed with a gay flag on his equipment and two gay pride patches on his back calling them homophobic and haters that they should leave the show when a gay pride flag was seen on the set of The Chosen was not sincere but a fake one. All it was, was worldly sorrow feeling remorse for what they said to the regular viewers of the show which I feel is not who they should have apologized to, it is directly to God where it should have gone to. If there is no Godly sorrow with a broken and contrite heart and cry out to God for forgiveness with true repentance for blaspheming His name it means nothing at all. They did not insult us they insulted Jesus Christ right at His face and raised their fist at Him trampling underfoot His precious blood and for that, I don't think God will listen to their prayers because they have not repented and forsaken that sin. The sin remains and are still a child of the devil. If they were really sincere with their apology then they should come out publicly denouncing the gay pride flag and say it is what God calls it a grave sin, it is vile and an abomination in God's eye and what it stands for. After given that announcement of apology to God for offending Him and if they love this cameraman they would tell him the truth about what God teaches about homosexuality and if they still will say nothing then they do not love him or God and for that, God will not accept their apology. It means they still support and promotes homosexuality and they are Christophobe. They are more concerned to have offended people but not concerned enough to have offended God and His Son Jesus Christ. Not a thing was said about God in their apology which is the One they offended the most and He was not included in the apology. That is so sad especially since they are there to make a movie about Him and here they don't even respect Him and love Him enough to stand up in His defence really show how much they Hate Him. What hypocrisy. I can guarantee they will not denounce that flag because they will lose some financial support and will receive backlash from the LGBTQ+ community. Time will tell how the outcome will result. Maybe it could end the show, if not, certainly they will get less support from it and lose some viewers in the process.

Wow, sure is a lot of mind and motive reading going on in that post. Tell me, where did you get your permission to judge what is in someone’s mind or heart? Scripture tells us that that authority and right belongs to God and God alone, James 4:11-12. God has been at the center of the chosen from the very beginning. People around the world are being drawn to Jesus and to reading his word, lives are being changed and souls saved; and not just viewers but people on the set as well. This is not the enemy’s first attack to try and stop Jesus from being preached and it won’t be his last. But don’t worry, the show’s not coming to an end; God’s got this.

I think the reason why people are reading deeply into this is because the flag could have been edited out or they could've removed any clips with the flag. Since they didn't bother to remove the image, it makes people believe that it is supported by this production.

A Christian who gets offended by a flag is not a Christian at all. But a non believer who gets offended by a Christian has a lot of answering accounts to do with God on their knees of why this person whom God has been working so hard to draw him closer to Jesus even to the point of letting him be employed in a Christian production was pushed further away by a self-righteous offensive attitude and now even has a bitter experience and hurt that they will never trust another Christian or being in the faith which is a tragic thing to happen.

I am quite shocked to see and hear many professing born-again Christian brothers and sisters of today who say they loved Jesus Christ, sing beautiful songs that praise and glorify Him, raise their arms in the air, get on their knees in worship, but when comes a time to defend His words and His Holy Name from someone who has done something wrong that is against his words or have blasphemed Him, they are not quickly there and defending Him but more denying Him. Matthew 10:32-33 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. They prefer to be on the sinner's side by trying to find and give excuses for his wrong action than defending God's words because they love more the man who they think does good things to them and others that they need to come to his defense. It's all about feeling, too afraid to offend the sinner but not afraid to offend God though. That is why Jesus called the Pharisees and Sadducees hypocrites because they were saying they love God but deep down in their hearts they were far from Him and He rebuked them severely. Matthew 15:7-9 “Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” What it says about a show like “The Chosen” which is compromising an unbiblical truth both on and off the screen that has reached such a large crowd of Christians and non-Christians as well in our society and when I hear some saying it brought me closer to God I'm always skeptical on how true and sincere they are. The Chosen must not teach the truth because it's not what the Bible says: "You will be hated when you speak my name." There is something wrong with their message to attract so many. It's like the Prosperity Gospel and the Eucharist movement to make more money and them become prosperous. They must be preaching something they like to hear not what they need to hear and that makes many not become true converts that will last all their life to save them but only a season. John 15:18-21 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. I don't think those who were sinners before they saw the show will change their lifestyle after watching it. I think they will still sin because they would say who can follow His standards they are too hard to reach. To justify their sins they will come up with an excuse by saying we are born with a sinful nature therefore cannot stop sinning and beside Jesus Christ washed all my sins away and paid the price for my sin so I can continue sinning. A lie from the pit of hell of Satan. As an example of a harsh and powerful teaching message from Jesus Christ here are two why they will not hear His voice and follow Him in Matthew 10:37-39 “He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. Also in Matthew 16:24-27 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works”. But I will give the benefit of the doubt that some might sincerely change and repent but not many though. Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. What I think about The Chosen it portrays more about Jesus Christ with the little “j” as a lovey-dovey, long blond hair blue eyes hippie type of guy who loves everyone and will accept anyone into heaven and many believed it and have fallen into Satan's trap. That is not the Jesus in the Bible that true Christians know and that is why I don't think The Chosen is a show we should follow for our salvation because it gives the wrong Gospel of Jesus Christ but gives more of the gospel of Dallas Jenkins which he gets from the Mormons, the Catholics and non-believers ideas which he calls them his brothers. Dallas they are not brothers if they do not follow the same Jesus of the Bible or those who do the will of His Father. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. The thing that makes me the most disappointed about all this problem is seeing the undiscerning Christians attacking and calling other Christians Pharisees the ones who are willing to actually stand up for Biblical truth and stand against this culture when the culture stands against us. Many actors in the show treated some Christians that way by insulting them especially who supported them and no apology was made and was asked by Dallas for them to do and not from himself either. So many people are just caving to public pressure including the show and these sorts of people that then attack those who are standing for truth are systematic like the show of The Chosen and the weak church in our society which cave to public pressure rather than stand against it. This is a litmus test that Dallas should have asked those who want to be part of his production to decide which Christians are true Christians standing for Biblical truth and which ones are not. Which one are you?

@@jpd4676 if you really look at some of those, they are for other believers. Jesus didn't treat non believers like they were believers. What He did do was give grace. I've struggled with that thinking it was just something God gave. Turns out after reading so many on here, is we are too. That crew memeber may not be a Christian or has a wrong understanding. The religious leaders of Jesus time made it impossible to even follow all those laws. Dallas has a business. Not a church. Not a ministry. There is no supporting nor promoting by this show. The pharisees were all about the law and so many of them totally missed their Messiah. So if you are ok that maybe God was working on this man, and all this hate thrown around towards him has turned him away, then keep this up. And it is just amazing that you and others think you know how God is working through this show. Way too many people telling others how this show has changed their lives. This show is not meant to replace reading the Bible, going to church, and learning more about who Jesus is. This show is a way of pointing the way. I watched that clip 3 times. Never really spotted the flag, until I saw a close up someone made. Didn't realize the orange patch was one, again, till I saw a close up. There are no big banners all over the set. My understanding is that is the only one anyone has seen. Do want to watch it, don't. But please stop thinking you all know how God is working in all this. I see more of the enemy having a really great time with what he is seeing.

I don't have a problem with them hiring people regardless of them being a Christian or not. I get that. But this was aired as a promo right before pride month. No way that's a coincidence. And Dallas makes a point to say that this is one of his favorite employees. What a wierd thing to say. Sounds almost like a nod to me. I have watched Dallas in several interviews and he is so wishy washy. I wouldn't describe any of it as "well said". I can't believe how many of my Christian friends and Christian KZbinrs I consider to be wise are watching the show. Smh ...

And the “it’s just entertainment” doesn’t cut it. “Hey the creators are Mormons, and it’s not biblical, but it’s got really good production quality!”

@@Galaxyinabottl3 I disagree of course, but I definitely don't think you are wrong to not watch the show. If you are convinced that the show is woke and pushing a worldly, sinful agenda, you definitely shouldn't watch it. I am not convinced of this at the moment, and I want to be fair with it, but I remain careful about the show as well. If I recognize any actual false teaching in it, I will absolutely call it out.

It figures. I watched the first 7 episodes and donated. I was sharply convicted to never watch another episode. Im glad I have obeyed. I did not know except by your video about the PRIDE sticker. And, now the double talk does not surprise me either. Maybe, dont watch the lies and read the bible. I just subscribed to your channel. Are you all for Hollywood Jesus ??? I need to know.
