2000 miles from the place I call home, on a missions trip, is when this song changed the way I look at music. God spoke to me through this song. I was about to quit my job working with people who work with disabilities, after 2 weeks in the field. This song came on the radio on my way to work in 2008. The people I cared for were the ones forgotten, rejected by their families. They were taken from an institution and put into a group home. The only people they knew were staff. The message this song has is so needed in todays day and age... As Christians, we need to not stay safely in our churches, keeping to ourselves. We need to actually start reaching out to people. Those that truly need our help, but not just that, We need the Lords help in doing so. In the words of Jesus himself, Luke 5:31 says "Jesus answered them, 'It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.'" Basically, we don't need to just minister to people who are already saved, what we need to do is tell people who may have never heard the name Jesus, people who have heard it but don't think their sins can be forgiven, or even to people who completely rejected Christ.

Well then that's just it, christianity is call for you. Read the bible. I have the study application bible witch I think is best for beginners. It tells the bible and at the bottom it tells you how to apply to your life very easy to read like extremely! I reccomend the following bible because one of the reasons I lacked connection with god was because i couldnt understand the bible. I reccomend the life application study bible 3rd edition NLT
