We follow what we call bands of tension. For example tension in the shoulders comes in several lines down to the fingers and in the case of the back of the shoulder to the toes. So we get the tension out from the very ends of these bands first and then like a series of dominoes collapsing the tension higher up basically lets go. Here is a chart of the bands www.raynormassage.com/shop/bands-raynor-massage-poster-usd/

whomever was holding the camera should try not to hold the microphone or the lens. Sadly it really ruined the video to not get any of the information because of the sound and losing part of the picture at times.

Chinese medicine uses tiger parts so idk if they're much to go by... Also not entirely sure what a "band" is reference to and how it travels up her entire arm from thumb to her neck?

@@brandonraynor You do have tight bands in your muscles but a muscle isn't a continuous 'thing'. The only thing that would travel the length of your arm is a nerve, not a specific "band" you are trying to describe as massaging...
@brandonraynor5 жыл бұрын
I use the word bands precisely because it contains more than one type of tissue. Just like a meridian traverses the entire body or a sen line.

I have A high-level spinal cord injury, which affects all of my limbs, but my left arm in particular and left leg are very spastic/full of tone. When you were talking about the fingers and wrist and going all the way up to the shoulder, That’s exactly what’s happening to me. My fingers are closed my wrist is cocked and my bicep pulls my for iamb to my shoulder and my inner shoulder is very tight all the time. I think I could really use this… I know it’s different because of the spinal cord injury but I really think you could help

Why did the New Zealand Olympic athlete bring a map to Brandon's shoulder massage session? Because with every press on his tight shoulder, he felt like he was on a tour of the country's most "knotty" regions! 🗺🤣
