I am a 48 year old man and my body is failing me. I have struggled with my faith most of my life. My legs have recently just stopped working and I’m trying not to be angry and bitter. God has shown me great miracles and blessed me so much more than I have deserved. I appreciate your message so much and ask our father to continue blessing you and helping you with your servitude. God bless you. I understand. I have spinal damage and need to commit my pain into God’s hands on an almost daily basis. If it were not for morphine, I would not be able to walk. Instead of calling out into the darkness about why people were allowed to do this to me, about why the pain is not healed: I found many blessings in calling in the light, thanking God for trusting me with this trial and promising to love Him even if the pain gets worse. A priest told me one time to offer my pain up to God for the salvation of souls and that it should be used for this purpose. I feel better when I am thanking God and blessing Him for the pain. My 🙏 for you that you will be able to withstand everything that the devil throws at you. What satan means for harm, God means for your good. Genesis 50:20

By the way when the apostle says *"Humble yourselves before the Lord"*, the word humble literally means to reduce one's own stature, to reduce one's own height. I have often found that the best way to reduce one's own stature is by bending those knees. I hope the one reading this comment is blessed by this insight.

Hey brother keep it up. You are doing an amazing job and I don't even know you. The battle against the flesh and spirit is really tough and very important to overcome. I love Yeshuah and I know where we are prophetically speaking. I've been using fentanyl meth Xanax for years. I don't know why I am having such a hard time getting clean. I don't want to be left behind when the Rapture happens. You are blessed to be sober. And you are being a blessing to others by teaching them tools to stay sober and hopefully The Gospel as well.

Hang in there, brother. You don’t have to have a perfect presentation to make a positive impact on the lives of others. You are doing a very good thing. Over twenty years ago, Jesus Christ set me free; I was demonized, have struggled with some things myself, but I know that demons DO recognize the Lord Yeshua, aka Jesus Christ. When people see what He did for YOU, and hear from your own heart and mouth what changes have taken place because of the Lord Jesus, that is a powerful way to get them to listen to you. This brother did an amazing job of digging deeper into the meaning of this account, and pointed out things i never knew about the Legion reference. I have always felt akin to the demoniac, and how after being set free from demonic oppression, his only desire was to go along, leaving all behind, and just be with Jesus. I always loved this chapter, but i have an even deeper understanding now of the significance of the deed of casting the demons into 2,000 pigs, to be drowned in the sea. Just like Pharoah’s army. I never knew that. So i wish you strength and joy in the Holy Spirit as you continue to minister to other addicts. Addiction does have a spiritual aspect to it. Thank the Lord He set you and i and so many others, FREE. Be blessed and Shalom.

Your comment reminded me of how I've felt before. Especially being raised in a southern Baptist church where we were taught we would go to hell if we sinned and we have to be and do good to get into heaven. That's so not God's desire for all of us. Anyways God bless you on your journey to learn about our Lord Jesus Christ. We will meet in heaven.

I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your daughter! Many people do not understand that we do not have the right to judge each other. A lot of people who call themselves Christians like to judge other people, even saying who will and who will not go to heaven. Just like the Pharisees, they are hypocrites. In life, we have the right to remove ourselves from people who endanger us. That’s it. We have no right to judge the souls of others. Disagreeing with your daughters service, and therefore rejecting her, is not what Christ taught. Matthew 7: 1-6

No,..... you are going beyond the scripture now, Jesus said Himself that He was ONLY sent to the lost sheep of Israel.. Matthew 15:24. Jesus was not coming to save the Gentiles and give them the gospel message while He walked the earth. Jesus Christ is all the promises and prophesies come true for Israel only, and it was through Israel that the Gentiles would have neen saved.. This is verified in Old Testament. Today's church's don't understand the dispensation of grace that Paul preaches. It's a dispensation that was never made known to any of the OT prophets. This is the mystery that Paul speaks of so often.

The woman with the "issue of blood" knew that she could be healed by the Messiah, because all Jews knew that the real Messiah would have healing in his "fringes" (tzitzyot) see Numbers 15, Deut 22, and the woman would have known Malachi's prophecy 4:2 that the messiah would have healing in his garment. Jesus told her she was healed by faith because she had faith in the word of God thru Malachi, and in the Torah Numbers and Deut. Don't tell a story how she may have heard of the events across the sea, that's nonsense, the boat travels faster than word of mouth. Her faith was in the promise made through the prophets and fulfilled in Jesus. You said you give tools needed, well the tools needed are in Malachi, Numbers and Deuteronomy.

“Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.”” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭5‬:‭9‬ ‭. Many historians, believe the pig herders were Jewish, which means they were breaking Mosaic law (with illegal enterprise ) by keeping pigs, and selling/eating pork). Either way - no demand of restitution, for the loss of the herd was requested or mentioned … Just a terrified request for Jesus to leave the area. But-the man encountered Jesus! Was set free, and restored into his right mind! this was another example of the extraordinary extent Jesus went through, in order to save that which was lost, and to show with power that He is the Son of God most high. “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I (Jesus)have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” ‭‭John‬ ‭10‬

You must consider... The Messiah was just not the Prothet... The Jews knew that the Messiah was King... A king who would Rule... Anyone who recognized him as the Messiah also recognized him as the King... Even Pontius Pilate first question was. Are You the King of the Jews? Anyone who approached a King and did not bow a knee would be killed. Philippians 2:10-11... What does he desire is obedience. and if you love him... Keep his commandments

I really like him and his teaching but I disagree with the part about Jesus loving everyone and the demon possessed man even bowing down before Him. The DEMONS knew who He was and were afraid of Jesus and THEY are the ones that caused the man to fall down and "Worship." Not the demon possessed man himself. Secondly God does NOT love everyone and the proof is all throughout Scripture. One example you may be familiar with is "Jacob I loved but Esau I hated." He also gives an example of what a Church should do when troubled by a person IN the congregation who causes strife among the brothers which ends with him being cast out of the Church entirely. For example one who persists in LGBTQ and advocates for it's approval. No not everyone is welcomed or you have the destruction of Churches like we have so many of today and then it is ruined for everyone.

There's a lot of depth to the account of the woman with the issue of blood. Being "unclean", she was suffering: - Physically -Financially (she spent all she had on doctors) - Spiritually (She was denied entry to worship and learn in the temple) Socially (She was an outcast with regard to her own family and her community) - Psychologically ( She was afflicted for 12 years and rather than getting better, grew worse, which has a profound psychologist effect.) Essentially, I believe Jesus brought all these broken parts of her life together in one single act. Interestingly, Jairus may have been the very person who kept her out of the synogoge and enforced the cleanliness laws. Many thanks for sharing your observations and for bringing these accounts alive in such a dynamic way Gods blessing on you, brother.👍

Hey Brandon this is 70-year-old female baby boomer I've been a Christian since age 6 wishy-washy in and out of church but at age 49 I came back to the Lord seeking his Mercy I definitely understand not being any better than anybody else and having the humble yourself before the Lord I'll tell you what a lot of people think that bowing before the Lord or anybody or humbling yourself before the Queen of England or whatever but humbling yourself to another person there is nothing that makes you more free than to let God take away your pride or give him your pride and humble yourself cuz the Lord is you know the ultimate that we should humble ourselves before but I'll tell you what I've never felt so happy I've never I didn't even really know what love was and now I just truly love everybody you know there's some people you have to kind of stay away from or maybe not be best friends with but you can still love them you can still pray for them somebody was praying for me does that make sense I know it does to you but I want to say something this was such an outstanding lesson I've never heard it preached anywhere near this I love the way you showed the maps and why you think it was the more Northern City which make common sense for the story for the rest of the story and wow knowing that the mass of the monster mascot whatever of the Romans was the boar pig absolutely blew my mind and I'm sure it will everybody that listens to this lesson now I have one request and I know you have a lot of followers and I know you probably do pray for your own liners everyday I'm just guessing that you're pretty good old boy and I mean an honest very good Christian man I'm old so I sometimes call people girls and boys LOL you're truly a man of God and I want to know if you will pray for my friend I have two friends actually they're very important one of them is going through menopause and she is having such a difficult time and personally she's just bleeding all the time enough that it keeps her away from people sometimes and she's a very good Christian lady she's actually my Sunday school teacher and friend very close friend actually should be my sister-in-law at some point my brother lost his wife to Parkinson's and so and he's a pastor so he feels like he needs to have a wife what he's a man anyway meaning most of us need a companion I don't... Anyway she needs prayer and I won't say her name also another friend whose name I will tell you Mary Ann... We've been friends since we were teenagers and through the years she became ill I forget what it's called cuz so many of those medical words are similar but her her back was one of those swaybacks that just progressively got worse and now she's literally like the lady in Luke chapter 12 I believe it is but she's bent in half she looks at the ground as she's walking and she follows the back of your feet so if we're going someplace I always walk in front of her and slowly because she has to use a cane just for balance but she also has problems with her neck even when she sits down she has a hole in her esophagus or something that just happened but she is such a wonderful person and she's an inspiration she gets going all the time she won't miss one church thing even if she has to be late she'll be there and I have health issues and quite a few I'm mentally good but you know I have back issues and I don't want to go into my health issues but enough that it keeps me from doing things sometimes quite a bit really and I ended up at 57 filing for social security disability and I won my case first time out if that's that makes any sense this is a long comment but I'm hoping that you read it and it becomes an inspiration to you to help me pray for my two friends Marianne and the menopausal lady need tremendous powerful prayer I know God can raise my friend Marianne and make her stand up straight I really believe that and I just adore her I mean I look up to her and she's younger than me I look up to her because not because of her knowledge of the Bible although she and I compete when it comes to the trivia that our church plays sometimes but I admire the fact that she just will not miss church part of that is out of fear she told me but whatever her reason is I'm just humbled that she can be in worse condition than myself and not make any kind of excuses to miss church it doesn't matter what the church meeting is about because we have two ladies Bible studies you know regular Sunday twice and Wednesday night we have a game night for everybody and everybody brings food and they play 42 and the other people play different games that don't enjoy 42 and we do that in our fellowship hall and then we have once a month the roadrunners that's for the you know older people mostly retired and we go someplace to eat once a month together and the fellowship is just truly incredible and we have a church of about 100 and they are faithful good tithers everything we have in a church is paid for we owe nobody anything and with the other money we support 25 missionaries around the world and my church where my brother is my pastor we also help every person in the church in one way or another of course usually with money they pay the rent or they need new tires on their vehicle whatever we can't do everything for everybody but my brother makes those decisions and the Bible teaches us that a man who gives a lot will never lack and I think that's the whole thing to our church as well to my brother's own investments because most of his life he worked secular jobs to support his family and the church now he does not have to work but that doesn't mean he's not out every single day serving the lord he just doesn't have to put a roof on I used to do roofing used to buy and sell cars he'd do anything to support his family and the church until the church was able to support himself but I'm just saying he used his money to invest his own money to invest and now he's very comfortable and he's very generous I mean I'm never even met a person that's as generous as he is except him he is exceptional not because he's my brother but because he is a true servant of God it's a I mean he's really kind gentle I live with him now and since his wife passed away the respect I get from him as a woman that I've never received before it really blows my mind I mean if I have a can of Coke and I said it on the table he'll open it for me I don't even ask him he just opens it for me and I'm thinking I can do that no he's a gentleman and he and he laughs a lot and he smiles a lot and he tells jokes and he's such a positive person but not like Joel Osteen which I don't know personally but I'm just saying he's such a wonderful pastor and I am just trying to figure out why we can't heal people yo some people get well of course anyway this is way too long I don't even know if it'll print just wanted to say something to you that this is an awesome channel I did subscribe and like God bless you also

Just because this Galilean territory is predominantly Gentile, it is still part of the ancient Israelite patrimony, and some Jews lived among them, even as they did in the diaspora. Jesus came, in his public life, explicitly to reclaim the lost sheep of the House of Israel (ie the so-called Lost Tribes of the northern Galilean area). The association of a Roman Legion of 2000 soldiers, and the boar insignia they employed, is right on. Nevertheless, the demoniac cannot have been but of Jewish descent. Like the Samaritan Woman at the Well, his condition represents the decadence to which his fallen community had come. In John's Gospel, Jesus sends the Samaritan Woman back to her people to proclaim the Messiah, too, for reason you suggest. The link to the Passover Drama of Pharaoh's hosts, drowned in the Red Sea is certainly fair, since Jesus came to bring a renewed Passover. However, it cannot be overlooked that in Mark's Gospel Jesus anticipates the Roman Legion's devastation not only of Jerusalem, but of the Galilee, which Josephus tell us included thousands of its inhabitants being killed at the seaside, such that its waters ran red.(cf Rev. 16:4). This blood red water also has Passover resonances. Jesus presides over these souls, and their communities, in a judgment; either of mercy or otherwise, depending on their receptivity. Thank you.

Brandon, Good insights. I always appreciate your videos. Another thought here: The woman who came to Jesus would have been recognized by those around her and they would have called her out. That's why she crawled to Him. Further, the Scripture says that she touched the hem of His garment. In doing that, she was acknowledging Who He was. Malachi said, The Son of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings. (Mal. 4:2) The wings of a person's garment were the fringe that were commanded to be on the edge of their clothes. (Nub. 35:38) These were called the Tzitzit and they spoke of Who God was. As she reached for the Tzitzit of His garments she was declaring, I know that You are the Messiah, and because of that, there is healing in Your Tzitzit. It was a profound act of faith that she performed. And when Jesus recognized that virtue had gone out of Him, He looked to see who had drawn that from Him. And He said to the woman, your faith has made you well. It was more than desperation. It was more than touching Jesus. It was an act of faith that Jesus would recognized and declare her healing, so everyone who would condemn her for being there would know that she was healed.

If Yeshua walked on the water, or if he knew how swim, water... to the religious Jew, was serious business. Far less to the Samaritan's, no better or worse than the next guy, but far less burdened by purification rituals on the chance someone died while in their care or process of assistance. The 'Good' in all of us, a matter of conscience over doctrine, dogma or any indifference aided by the former. Your insight into his travels to the gentiles, is well appreciated. The guy who answered Legion, probably took everything he had left of himself to see the opportunity through, to fall at the feet of the one, who could redeem him. The characters who would be expelled? Knowing much about tradition as they did, surely, when the one* walks upon in the shore in defiance of tradition? It ceases at that moment, to be tradition any longer. To pretend otherwise is to deny your own promise. Having said that, Christians must understand that 'group rates' are good for hotels or purchasing power, but there are no discounts with club memberships. Ideologies are far better lenses than they are mirrors. Mirrors, are personal.

So many historical evidence seems to suggest that this actually happened, and the story was purposely written down in a symbolic way, because this story isn't about winning or losing a war or massive armies of soldiers with boar-covered shields and armory taking over and oppressing people, this story is about the moral virtues of mankind, no matter how much oppression, fear, doubt and war there is. If you're full of sins and you're resentful, then the only way to stand up for yourself and others is by getting rid of your demons first by showing humility. Because how are you otherwise sure that it isn't you that's actually the source of evil (metaphorically speaking)? Resent, hate and disgust twist people into doing things that make you seem good and others seem like the weak, worthy of oppression, and the Jews and early christians understood this very well. I think St. Mark was a mentally very strong and well postured person to purposefully stay away from the more popular sagas of epic realms with powerful warriors and legendary swordsmen.

Just a point to ponder, the detail about the pigs makes me think how God has to coordinate the world and its existence from the beginning even despite our free will. Otherwise, we would be living in compete chaos. Or, more accurately, our world just couldn't sustain itself. For instance, how did it happen that there were exactly 2000 pigs right there for Jesus to send the demons into in order to make a point....Amazing how our great Creator is also the great Coordinator. Every detail throughout time has to take place in such an exact way for everything to be fulfilled! It is interesting to me how much we miss in the scriptures because we do not understand the context. One song I hate is Jesus, friend of sinners... he is NOT, and never was. Those he interacted with in His ministry directly were all Jewish decent. The woman at the well and the possed man were jewish. He came to seek those who were lost of the house of israel. Outside Jewish territory he could tell people to spread the news, but the prophecy said he would not in Jewish territory. The woman that was begging Jesus that he ignored WAS gentile because his disciples asked him to send her away. That gave him a license to talk to her

Touching story, but purely symbolic, no consolation for women who suffer by virtue of their DNA and therefore have a uterus, which apart from the humiliating vaginal bleeding, hygiene problems, can also suffer excruciating pain. The woman who was an outcast, suffered more from humiliation and isolation caused by the cruel Laws that God / Jesus established, than from the bleeding. No encouragement here for 1000000s of devoted prayerful christian women suffering from menorrhagia, or endometriosis, some even had to have hysterectomies, and hence suffer the extra tragedy/ humiliation of childlessness. As for the pigs, innocent intelligent creatures that God created, they are an excellent source of protein, and would have gone a long way to reversing the iron deficiency anaemia that that the woman was suffering from, not to mention feeding 1000s of starving people. I was going to give this thumbs up, sounded like a reasonable exposition with interesting historical back ground, but then it degenerated into an another pulpit fest, an fairy possibility thinking message by a motivational speaker in a religious bubble.

My partner is about to be delivered tomorrow and then I realised it was meant for him - doh 😖 😅😳🤦🏽‍♀️ - I guess it’s better late than never 😅 Thank you SO much for this amazing video as you have presented scripture in a beautiful gift where threads of the story have been pulled together to make a new tapestry of meaning for us - thank you dear brother and may God’s good, good blessings be upon you in abundance 🙏🏽🥰🤗😃
