Mr. Robbins, I am so very appreciative of your ministry and the light you are shining on the truth. Over the centuries there has been so much misunderstanding about what God has been saying in His Word, what with all the different translations and ignorance. Thank God for you and for being a light into the darkness and your unfailing commitment to bringing truth to us all.

I asked God for a way to understand things that I don't understand and it wasn't long after I scrolled across your page or posts or videos or whatever it is. I really appreciate it I know I'm not doing my best and some things still I don't understand but with enough trying and watching some of these videos a lot of things are definitely a lot clearer.

I Thank God for happening upon your channel! I'd forgotten so much of these. Bc of the ingrained way I have been raised to believe. I have a renewed mind right now please pray for me to go forward with this and give it to others in my actions. And that I don’t allow the condemnation from others to cause me to forget and complicate this very profound yet simple understanding! Although that’s is an oxymoron it is so true. It’s deep but so easy to comprehend and understand exactly what God wants from us. Thank You Jesus!

When i was a kid we were told that all day Sunday should be used in some sort of prayer and worship such as reading religious books or the bible and having a study group together to learn about God - getting together with friends and family was important. If you had to work it needed to be only minor or important like cooking or if your employer required it. You should never be washing floors on Sunday.

Great video Brandon ! For years I've been comparing the Koine Greek words in the new testament to the English to get a clearer meaning. Two examples was that I found that the Greek word for " believe" can be a noun or a verb and that the verb tense is what leads to our salvation. Also the Greek word " recieve" meaning " to take hold of" which means that the free gift of salvation, including the recieving of the Holy Spirit, are to be " taken hold of, recieved, by obeying the gospel plan of Acts 2:38, ( which Paul also preached according to Acts ch 19 ). Early on in your video I was enlightened by your reference to how original Hebrew words define key N.T. passages. Considering the the gospel according Matthew was originally written in Hebrew, or was it Aramaic ? It opens up a new approach to how I study. Thanks brother !

I am a retired Minister I was a minister full-time for over 30 years. Brandon I commend you on your ministry with correcting our knowledge of the bible. What I don't understand and what I am again I guess is that you are referring to the series of videos called the chosen. I want to thank you Brandon for your videos. The content is well thought out, historically framed in a Jewish context which I appreciate greatly. Also, your interpretations are beautifully articulated & grounded in faith. I am curious to know your thoughts on some of the early Christian gospels that were widely circulated throughout The Holy Roman Empire, such as The Gospel of Mary, Judas, Thomas, Peter, Philip, etc. (particularly Mary & Judas) All Da Vinci code fiction aside!!! We can’t deny that these writings did exists early on & read by early believers. Nor can we deny how incredibly significant Mary really was (the 1st He appeared to post resurrection.) She returned to prepare the body for burial (something so intimate, it was usually only done by family members.) I believe it was Philip who referred to her as “the disciple he loved more than the rest” (paraphrasing) and Peter showed jealousy of her relationship with Jesus & that He had shared ‘knowledge’ with her, a woman, that he had not share with his male followers. It also would have been very uncommon for a Rabbi of his age in the 1st century to be unmarried. Of course as of now, there is no mention of a union or proof, but it seems at least ‘possible’ that they could have been married or had an affectionate, special relationship (not necessarily sexual if they were not married.) On a personal note, my faith in Jesus as The son of God & being a part of God incarnate would not be diminished in the least if one day it is discovered & proven that they were married. I’d love to hear your perspectives on these controversial & complicated topics. However I would understand if you decided to not tackle them here.

Here are the three things in my life that absolutely unlock the Bible and make it simply fall open every time I read it. 1. Received the baptism in the Holy Spirit. 2. Pray for myself the prayer of Ephesians 1: 15 - 21. (May take many times - for me only 3) 3. Ask God to fellowship with me in His Word every time I read my Bible. The results have been astounding. I love to read my Bible. It is not like any other writing on earth and cannot be understood by reading it like any other writing on planet earth. It was created through the light of the Holy Spirit and can be fully comprehended ONLY in the light of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:. 6. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Aw, dude… I want to love the Lord my God with all my heart, soul, and “m’eod”/strength! But wanting to doesn’t ease the deep dismay I feel that I fall SO far short of even coming anywhere near achieving that! I feel so incapable, I mean, I feel like all I can pray is, “God, please help me love you more! God please love through me with YOUR love! Because my love is pathetic! I’m a selfish, lazy wretch!” That’s pretty lame, isn’t it, asking God to love Himself through me, like a kid asking her dad for money so she can buy him a present. But I don’t know how to be capable unless He makes me capable. He made me able to love Him and want to love Him better. I guess that’s a start. You said it’s about choosing. I guess I can choose better more & more often. The thing about drawing nearer to God is, the more progress I make, the more room for improvement I realize there is, and the worse I realize I am, ya’ know?
