I've been in love with Meinl first through Benny Greb in about 2006, at a drum clinic of about only 30 people in the room, it was a in a small town in Canada. I had Sabian cymbals at the time I was 14, still own them, but finally purchase last year a set of the Mike Johnston cymbal pack as they were on sale from the meinl factory because they were ending the Mike Johnston set. Could never be happier

I have a Meinl Vintage Pure 22" light ride too. Couple of years ago went into a local drum shop they had one on the rack I tried it out and had to have it. Wonderful cymbal it is on the dry side but just enough 'wash' to make it useful for a variety of applications and it crashes well too. Congrats on being a Meinl endorsee and great playing.
