Could you make a video about Geometry Nodes in Blender 3.1? I'm trying to learn by doing a Procedural library, but there are things like scaling the geometry of an object, or distributing points so there is no interpenetration.

This is one of those videos that's good to come back to 3 or 4 times a year. Tips that are just kind of neat today but mean nothing to you will almost certainly be forgotten, and you'll be glad you got exposed to them again. For example December is right around the corner and maybe you get the urge to render your own cards for friends and family. Suddenly that snow add-on that would have slipped your mind the next day in June is just what you wanted.

I gotta say it, blender's ux is one of the best on the marketing, not only for 3D softwares, in general. It's consistent throught all the software, it's super customizable, have some features that really bugs me other software doesn't have, like holding shift to slowly decrease a value, or being able to change values with math operations ON THE LINE BOX, I cant stress it enough how useful those are

Sandeep, that means everything to me, thank you! Yes it took a lot of time and effort (and researching) to make this but all I wanted out of it was a video that was helpful to people. Thank you so much for watching and for the kind words!

Thanks a lot. For me it was: - Video as Planes - External Image Editor - Bevel Profiles - Color Palettes - IES Lights - Material Override - Boid Particles Some of the others I already knew but it's good to get over them as well, so I can keep them better in memory.

Georg, Thank you for this. It's so interesting to see which ones people found useful or new. I really appreciate you taking the time to share. The Boid Particles is one that I really want to spend more time on and put a more in depth video out on soon. Thank you!

17:04 - 0.2 is a fifth, which is actually a stronger case. I've decimated down to 0.1 or 0.05 on insane high-poly models with little to no noticeable end result image quality. Wild!
