Great man! Thanks for showing actual work… getting tired of seeing water tests on KZbin doesn’t show anything but a nice vintage motor running, we’ve all seen motors run. Continue these great videos man!

Very helpful vid. I am working on a 1961 18hp Evinrude so this was great to see. Can you tell me if backing out the needles is a standard 1.1/2 turns back on both fast and slow?
@andyhowat462410 ай бұрын
You should count the turns when you disassembled it

Found the video and photo director app. How do you add live video thumbnails to the main video? Are the directions on the video director?

I’m working on a 1959 Evinrude 10hp!! So happy you’re doing this project!! Was wondering if you have problems with the new carb kit needle seats!!?
@gdamtbnms5 жыл бұрын
apparently not! every kit i buy the needle seat wont screw in! hmmm also what did you use to polish the needles with??
@-Viceroy-5 жыл бұрын
@@gdamtbnms 0000 steel wool is pretty good for polishing needles and if you want to be fancy, finish with autosol metal polish

Charles Kile if it’s an early fifty’s model, you might need to tighten the outer needle bushing casing screw
