When i was looking for a cheap place to rent in Metro Manila, I met an old lady who showed me a very tiny room outside her very old house and it was the place Jollibee was Created! She explains how Jollibee was conceptualized. The room was only 5k a month. No one even makes a big deal of that house.. I found a cheaper room in the area and another old woman told me that my middle name reminded her of a tenant in the 70s. He asked me if I knew that man. Well, he became crazy rich, but lately he is just crazy. So i got to see their humble beginnings.

It's really a small group, but Jollibee may be the biggest Asian burger fast food chain in the world. Aside from MOS burger, I can't name another Asian burger fast food chain with branches in Europe and America. I understand Jollibee is the flagship store but Mang Inasal might have done better in the US.

I have friends who refuse to consume MSG and they say they know if a food has MSG in it by taste alone and it either makes them dizzy or give them headaches. We also eat in Jollibee from time to time and they love the food. After observing them for a while I now know they are bullshitting about knowing if a food has MSG in it and it makes them dizzy or give them headaches, they are fine after the meal.
