@@OwenBikeNerd The Stoic is nice and so is the Laufey but when you look at what each price band shipped with for the Scout you simply couldn't touch the value that Nukeproof offered. Perhaps that is one of the reasons why they have such a following? The entry point is really something else. The only other bike that has an entry point where you look at it and say "ok, wow" is Saracens Mantra starting at less that a grand! Its a Mullet too and I love a good Mullet! We don't see enough love for Saracen these days which is sad as they have a great history and got me in to mountain biking as a kid with the RAW.

For me I wish *Iron Horse* would make a comback. Their Sunday DH rig was legendary on the hands of Sam Hill. A few years ago I owned an old '04 Iron Horse Hollow Point with DW Link suspension. It was a great starter bike and it gave lots of miles of fun. Another brand I'd like to see come back is *Corsair* They had high pivots and idler pulleys before it was cool, way back in the late 2000's. I remember looking at their website while I was in junior high school and dreaming of one day owning a Maelstrom or a König. Too bad they went down.

KLEIN - no other brand has produced so many progressive innovations and thus had a lasting impact on bike development to this day. Large tube diameters, internally routed cables, smoothly ground weld seams, industrial bearings pressed in at the factory, stem-handlebar units, elaborate fade paintwork (including suspension forks), and so on. I'd give a lot to see what Gary Klein would develop today, and I'm sure these would be the coolest bikes again!
