I’m letting you know I just got one of these in Dayton for wgi finals and the have fixed the magnets they hold super well now, it’s hard to take it out

@@tObito687 both pads came in pretty fast, Love them both. Xymox has been faithful from everything I’ve seen lately. The company rebranded a while back and has been fulfilling orders ever since.

Hey Snare Man! Can you do a review on the new Offworld BYOSphere? There seems to be a few new changes to the models and I'm not sure how it would affect sound and feel. I'm sure Offworld would be happy to send you the new model. If you do, can you include a sound test with the new BYOSphere compared to the old one? Thanks! P.S. bring back those old intros where you would play a groove with pad in question

I had commented when this video had first came out and I had a question you mentioned that the pad can get dents in the head after a month with some consistent use is the head significantly damaged I saw a video they posted with a pad that was very worn and was wondering if urs has gotten pretty bad and if the head is weak or strong

What’s the best high-tension pad you would recommend the most for marching snare? Xymox, RD, Brash, RCP, Ahead, Ect.

The rd pad is what will be the closest to a drum, the xymox is a laminate that feels like a “drum” where its more like hitting a piece of wood. The ahead pad the laminate breaks so quick. The rd pad is your best investment since you can replace the head when it breaks since its a real kevlar marching snare head.

I like the offworld invader v3 but if you’re willing to spend a lot of money then probably the rudimental drummers drum corp pad

The snares on mine don’t fall out so maybe the magnets on yours are not as strong

What is the worst pad you’ve ever played on?

Well, my opinion would come from a marching snare angle, so the ones with the least rebound would fall towards the bottom. Those would be this one and some of the CP pads. They might be great in a concert snare type setting, but I don't care for them as much on the marching side of things.

It takes 2 weeks for xymox to ship now if u ordered it before last year or before the new manage ment then u will still be waiting
