The early 2000s were a completely different time. With a different mindset. I learned to respect these dolls as they were trying to do something in the moment as i look back i can see how if they did this nowadays it would not fly. Mabye if they did they could honor the culture they are featuring instead of capitalizing off of it, speak with members of the culture to see what’s appropriate and whats not. Heck even donating a portion of proceeds to a charity that helps minorities is another ❤

I don’t think anyone actually considers the the Tagg dolls as culture appropriation? So I don’t really understand why you made it seem like majority people have those thoughts about the tagg dolls
