I enjoyed this 2 part series very much, it was great to see the fun you and your wife have together! Bravo as well in your “gender roles” and toy gun discussions - definitely agree with you and thank you for using your influence to talk about these controversial topics. I had one thing to add to your snowpants response, tell them “I live in Canada dude, we need them to stay warm!!!!” I live in Nunavut and wear mine everyday even the 3min drive to the PO sometimes in order to stay warm since the vehicle doesn’t warm up well. I did buy a tee btw, and can’t wait to get it! All the best!

-40 Celsius and -40 Fahrenheit are the exact same temp. To get a quick relatively close conversion for temps over freezing you take the Celsius temp double it then add 30 and that will get you to within a couple of degrees Fahrenheit. So if its 10 Celsius 10x2=20+30=50 degrees Fahrenheit. That only works for temps over 0 Celsius. Cool videos.

Those little handle holes in the Sea to Summit plates came in handy for me a couple of weekends ago... I kept repeatedly banging my head into a low tree limb which was right above the entrance to my tarp shelter. After thinking a bit as to what I could do to remedy the problem, I decided to hang my plate from that hole with a bit of cordage from the limb. Problem solved...I never banged my head again with that reminder plate hanging there.

Growing up with wood stoves, never understood why someone would use the flue damper to control the stove. The firebox air vent controls the burn. The damper vent keep cold air from coming in and keep the warm air from going up and out when the stove is out. Great to see your wife come out, be nice and drill a hole next to the stove so she doesn't get wet feet feeding the fire. Besides can always have a jig stick and catch a fish or two. Lol bring her back..... often.
@SuperQuickfix16 жыл бұрын
Dan thomas guess we had good wood stoves, only two times the flue damper was either closed or almost closed was baking in the oven or closed when we went to bed. Heated with a mutifule furnace, corn cobs, coal, wood. Ya I warmed my but feeding the dam things lol
@SuperQuickfix16 жыл бұрын
Dan thomas peace man, fix alot of flues because the owners try to control the burn and end running below a 450 degree stack temperature and end up with creosote coated flues and chimneys. You have the experience to run your stove but some are not as careful as you.

Hey Chris and Courtney, I'm happy to see the concluding part of this awesome camping. You guys are so cute and fun, Loved those sweet moments. I guess you made a pretty good point out there about lots of things but you gave an good answer about boys playing about their natural instinct. Yes, playing with Toys guns or BB guns does not equates to be gun slinging maniacs. I had passion for them myself but my country does not allow it and guess we got used to it. And also not many of us could afford it even if we have an option. But to compensate that, I did played video games like CS, Medal of honors etc like many others and learned a lot from it. And that didn't make me go join the wrong side of the law to actually deal with it for real. So yeah, folks should not get paranoid if their kids play around, yes they can keep a watch if they are too afraid. But nowadays, I guess with all the things with the news and other stuffs, guess we have become so much divided with our opinion and the way we look at this things. I get your point, guns do protect at emergency situations and more responsible people should have it. But who can point out the cat among the pegions in this day and age, that's what confuses me. Keep doing your thing and bring on Courtney more often, she is a great addition and can handle herself well indeed. Cheers.

Part of living free is to risk it all - to be free. Now I know we can't all be totally free, but I would like to get as close as possible. What kind of world would it be if we could stop people just before they committed a crime? What would we need to do in order to make that happen? Scary idea, that's for sure. I like the idea that we can still actually commit a crime...we have that liberty, that right. But of course, we don't have the right to actually be free of punishment for committing it. Fair.
@Robbie_S6 жыл бұрын
The Wooded Beardsman So basically you want to say every Hero needs a villian and every cure needs a disease. Yep I like that idea too. World functions on that whole concept, otherwise we would all have no purpose in life. Thanks man, now I can think better.☺️

Dean 😅😅😅
@danthomas90776 жыл бұрын
Dean Fahrenheit better represents actual conditions, 32 deg, F is 0 deg C, water is at the point it just starts to freeze or thaw, animals/life can easily survive at these temps, switch those numbers to 0 F and -32 C, at these temps all water will freeze solid and life/activity is pretty much impossible, unless you're a polar bear.

People would probably laugh at me but I don't mind. I wear pajamas (with polar bears) under dress pants. Very warm, very comfy and I can move a bit better then snow pants. The black dress pants heat up and dry in the sun if it isn't too cold. But if it's -20 F I throw snowpants on over everything. I don't need mobility when it's that cold just warmth to stay safe

Yep, people don't realize that you can take even the toughest peice of meat and stewing it makes it tender. In this case, nature wins. Wood is cheap fuel and can be used to stay warm at the same time, and is actually cheaper energy cost than stewing that same piece of meat almost any other way. Early man probably just kept a pot constantly stewing with meats as they caught the throughout the days.

19 minutes into the video and I have to tell yall man, I hope one day I have a love that it's obvious you and Courtney have for each other. It makes me miss being in a relationship honestly. Yall give me hope that true love exists still. Obviously I understand that people only put the best parts of their relationship on social media and I'm sure in your 17 years you've probably had your hard times but I'm also sure that the love you have for each other wouldn't be so evident if you weren't so amazing together. Never let that go brother. I love how you two balance each other. It's funny how when you're trying to be serious she's doing the eyebrows at you and winking, and when you're being goofy she gets all bashful lol. Then once you're done cutting up, and u just sit there holding each other trying to get a good pose for the camera your true love shines through and u can tell Just how much you love each other and truly enjoyed each others company. I love it. Sorry if I'm being too analytical or whatever but I just noticed it and thought I'd share how much I love and appreciate seeing genuine love be shown in the world.
