Irish guys opinion is ridiculous that max deserved WDC only after today Max has won races and got the best results possible in a car that’s had multiple issues. His teammate can’t even handle the car. Meanwhile Landos has the fastest car since Miami and has only won 3, barely closing the gap to Max. Max has deserved this championship since race one. Not once has lando done enough to deserve it.

This is an anti-Max podcast but I am glad that he crushed your hope that Lando could win the championship. Although mathematically possible, we know how hard it is for Lando to win despite having the fastest car.

With a "normal" podium you'd have a point. But i can't blame people for voting for Ocon who put his Alpine on P2. Same goes for Gasly, starting on what, P13 to a podium finish? All 3 could have been driver of the day.

Max is the final boss To beat him, you cant throw away wins and points like lando has done. He has wasted a amazing opportunity, mclaren has been the quickest car for majority of the season Since miami, where if you actually look at the race. Even before the safety car, piastri was hanging onto max. Mclaren been quicker since then. I would say austria has always been a max stronghold, and spa qualifying was wet

​@@tracklimitspodWell if cars are pretty equal, i would bet on max. You have to remember, its not only other cars have been quicker than the redbull. The redbull has at times been the 3rd/4th quickest car with balance issues.

Yeah he was referencing that Max can DNF the next two races and Lando wins and we have a last race shootout. Very unlikely but still a possibility!

Lando could get max points for all the remaining races and max could finish 6th and max would still win. Only a dnf could change the championship and in modern f1 with a brand new engine that’s a very low chance.

LOL outside of Vegas which is a Ferrari favored track, the McLaren car should be dominant in the dry so he should be able to win both of those races.

We need piastri to make another performance jump next season, to give max a challenge. He is the one. I dont trust norris, russell and leclerc.

29:00 Agreed, "not yet". Even though he only has to score 2 points more than Lando during the race, there's still things that can happen. While I do think he will get it, it may not be at Las Vegas. Heck, it might even be so that Ferarri gets the constructor's if McLaren decides to sandbag the rest of the season.

Honestly if Ferrari does it’s job in Las Vegas, which should suit them very well, Max only has to stay right behind Lando to win the championship, it is very realistic for Max to win it in Vegas 😅
