Thank you for this great recipe. I’m fairly new to the bread machine world, after making bread by hand the old fashioned way for a long time. Your videos are so informative and inspiring! I’ve decided I’m not a big fan of the bake cycle in the bread machine but I love that I can use the dough cycle and then form and bake it myself. I found that my oven needed 10 more mins with this recipe but oh what a yummy loaf of bread. Thank you!

This was such a wonderful video! Nice to see the comparisons and listen to you talk about the aspects of bread making. I’m loving this so much! In a comment before you mentioned how bread making can be very therapeutic. Yes! That’s the word I was searching for! My pumpkin yeast bread rose too fast but still everyone is loving it! A definite make for me, tho the next one will go in the cast iron. This looks delicious! I know somewhere you listed that cutting tool, would you list it again? And I love the bread bags! They work really well. Thank you for all the hard work, I’m eager to learn. Happy Friday! (My sister is coming home today!)🥰🇺🇸

Cynthia, thank you so much! I always appreciate your comments! I absolutely love that you're enjoying breadmaking and finding it "therapeutic" too! It really is! It's good for the soul. I'm also happy to hear your sister is on the mend and able to come home. That is great news! Hopefully she'll get a bite of the pumkin bread. Even though it might not be pretty, I'm glad y'all are enjoying it. I'm glad you like the bread bags, too! They really are nice for keeping the bread fresh and I love that it makes the bread look nice for gift giving (better than a ziplock bag!). You can also spruce them up with ribbon for the Christmastime. Here is the dough cutting tool I use to divide my amzn.to/3zV0li7 Thanks again and again for your kind words and encouragment! @@RobynOnTheFarm ohh ok! I just used whipping cream and a handmixer. Mixer sounds even better will try next time. I have tried fresh milk from a farm once it was almost like cream the woman had to mix it first before pouring inte my glass. It tasted so good. Tasted like grass and nutrition. Her sons was really strong and big boys. I'm convinced it was the unprocessed natural milk.

@RobynOnTheFarm
@RobynOnTheFarm 2 ай бұрын
That works too! But I find it even easier and faster with a blender. If you have one, give it a try! Yes, farm fresh milk is raw and non-homongenized, so the cream separates from the milk, that's why you have to shake it. It's the best! That's definitely why her sons were that big and strong--it's SO good for the body! I'm enjoying the break from milking but not from not having our own milk! Have a fantastic weekend!!

@RobynOnTheFarm
@RobynOnTheFarm 2 ай бұрын
Thank you! I'm glad you're going to make this bread today! I do also use stand mixers. I use a KitchenAid when doing small batches (amzn.to/4ej5gYV) and a Bosch when making several loaves or bread with fresh milled flour because it has a stronger motor (amzn.to/3Yesedy). Thank so much for your question and I sure hope you love your bread!! Thanks for watching and being here!

How do you store your bread? We do like you and cover and wrap in tea towels. After a couple of days the bread is getting really crumbly.
@RobynOnTheFarm
@RobynOnTheFarm 2 ай бұрын
Great question! Once the loaf is mostly cooled, I unwrap it from the tea towel and store it in one of these bread bags: amzn.to/3HyicMg The bread stays nice and fresh! If I leave it just wrapped in the towel it starts drying out fast once cooled. These work great and are convenient to slice the bread and store for easy use. Thanks for watching and for your question!

I just watched the video and you call for 1/4 cup of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of Salt, but the written recipe calls for 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of Salt! Which is correct? I don't want to mess this up! 5:53

Thanks for catching me! I just saw in the video I said 1 tablespoon of salt then I said 1 teaspoon as I put it in. IT’S 1 TEASPOON! It’s correct on the written directions. And 1/4 c of brown sugar is correct, but either will work fine. THANK YOU!!!! I appreciate you watching and watching out for me, too!!

It still seems to make great loaves of bread & I am trialling them tomorrow. Cheers Denise- Australia 😃😃

I have been looking for a bread recipe that most closely mimics store bought Nature's Own White Butterbread. I will give this a try. Most recipe's I have tried are just very heavy white breads. Yes they are good tasting, but just so much heavier than store bought bread, and I don't know why. I have a similar model Zojirushi bread machine to yours in the white color. BTW, I noticed that you cheated a little.... Yes, I caught you, lol. 🤭🤫 You didn't bake the loaf you showed in the double paddle Zojirushi bread machine. It appears you used a different single paddle machine, but hey, they both look great! Thanks for sharing your recipe and this video! 🤣😂
@RobynOnTheFarm
@RobynOnTheFarm 2 ай бұрын
This is a good, light loaf, so hopefully you like it! I did use my very old bread machine to make the one totally in the bread machine so I could have them baking and finished about the same time. I should have used that one for the dough cycle and my Zojirushi for the machine baked one, I wasn’t thinking clearly lol! Ideally, I need several Zojirushis because there are several times I want to have several breads going. Thank you so much for watching and for your comments! I appreciate you being here! If you’re looking for an even lighter loaf, my most made, go-to recipe is this one: EASY Bread Maker Machine White Yeast Bread Loaf Recipe kzbin.info/www/bejne/jobdlpKii56mrdk
