Great video! These things make a great case for gold tip arrows and the fact weight system, if you have tuning issues because of the extra weight.

I finally set mine up yesterday between a.m. and p.m. hunts and my first concern was the weight, but I couldn't find any help videos from them for demonstration and wanted to know if you just pressed the button to turn it on, would it use battery life the whole time or just once you shoot it. I assumed only when it was shot, but later last night I learned differently, and I'm surprised you have to replace the battery every time it runs dead, I dont know if I even want to see what that cost lol. It definitely needs updates on showing you where the arrow is, just a simple direction guide for or arrow to walk towards or at least more than a "close","very close". Obviously a great idea, i'm pretty sure theres not a bow hunter in the world that hasn't talked about wishing for somebody to make GPS for our arrows, I know all my hunting buddies have been waiting 15 years or better for this technology to come out lol, so I hope they make some major improvements, so I'll be patient, I'm sure it's way harder to do this shit than it is to type it lol, I'll keep my fingers crossed. Good luck hunting this season man(;

Your phone seems old, could that be a factor? Is it also possible your phone case is interfering with the range and clarity of the BT signal?

This was an s9+ which was a pretty new phone when this video was made. If you need something newer than that, I don't know what to say then lol. As far as a case, would you take your phone case off every time you wanted to track your nock? Which again, would make these nocks pretty poor technology. I haven't tried to redo this test, maybe updates have made them better. It's possible. But they are sitting in my hunting bag and haven't ever tried using them after coming to the conclusion that they aren't worth it.

@@thedeercamp keep in mind some cases are really good at blocking blue toath and if one had a case like that their often isn't something breadcrub could do

@@datrandomdugggy5537 I think the idea of this product is great. I just don't see them being able to help locate an arrow any easier than a regular lighted nock. If they could come up with a way to show an estimated feet distance that you're away from the arrow, then that would be a game changer. The added weight on the back of the arrow ultimately made me determine they just aren't worth it.
@datrandomdugggy55374 жыл бұрын
@@thedeercamp so you wouldn't recommend them even just for some outdoor target practice I know lighted nocks exist but I would think these are better
@thedeercamp4 жыл бұрын
@@datrandomdugggy5537 better how? They won't hit in the same spot as other nocks because of the weight, you'd be hitting low. Maybe not much of a significant amount at 20 yards but farther than that they will be hitting low. You'd have to adjust your sight for these and then adjust it back for your arrows without them. I wouldn't really see the need for target practice when you're not losing a lot of arrows, if any. Plus they aren't cheap. You can try them if you want, but mine are sitting in a box & haven't ever been used since if that tells you anything.

Do you even know how many arrows you would need to lose for this thing to pay for itself.

Ive had these from day 1. Battery problems from day 1. They said defective batterys sent me 6 I have 12 nocks. Batterys die in cold weather. Waste of money.

Bluetooth is the absolute wrong tech for this. Bluetooth's range and power is meant for very small distances regardless what STM or Nordic would have you believe with BT5 etc.. Wonderful idea and clearly a well developed first stab by Breadcrumb. ESP variant or Murata would be more likely to work with a bit higher power consumption. Bottom line no matter what is that batteries will be an issue for anything.

To be honest, I'm really not that impressed. I feel like this product was rushed out of R&D before it was perfected. Hunters need to get back to basics and stop overthinking and over complicating everything. I will go as far as calling this nock a huge POS.
