Hey y’all and welcome back! We took a couple days off to celebrate Alex’s birthday and had the best time just relaxing and enjoying a little stay-cation. Thank you for all the sweet birthday wishes for him, we really appreciate your love and support! We got back to the dumpsters today but ended up with a pretttty small haul haha but we hope you enjoy coming with us anyways and we will see you again soon! x

You can take those christmas lights to your recycle yard an they will pay you money for them for scrap. May not be much but it all helps. Love watching to see what is found.

Look at the end of the plug, sometimes there’s a fuse in the plug part that you either slide or might be screwed.

Good suggestion. Also they make light testers for Christmas lights. On some strands, when one bulb goes out, none will work.

I’m glad you enjoy it! I think it’s really important to share authentically what dumpster diving is like. You won’t always hit it big! so we don’t want to give the impression that is true and cause people to feel discouraged if they try it and don’t find anything right away.

Kelly those lights may have fuses, in the plug /prong area. They cost only pennies, and cld be the issue. Worth a try!

Hey guys I watch you all the time and had to go to our dump Next to the bins is a big thing for plastic stuff and we scored a bunch of small to Medium plastic bins I was so excited to find them I am working on clearing and straightening my craft room these are going to help and they were free

Those cowboy boots were worth taking. There’s a lady in California who buys them for $80, cleans them up and sells for more. You can google cowboy boots restorer, California. Those boots were actually in great shape.

It could just be the fuses in those lights. It's a cheap fix if that's the case. The fuses are usually under a cover on the plug.

Also a burned out lightbulb will cause the others to go out. Some people won't bother to repair.

with the older strings of lights if one bulb is out the others in that section won't work, so you test them by using a working bulb till you find the broken one... yeah it's work but that's how they works (that's why you see those light tester things) most ppl just toss the entire light set b/c it's work to find which light is out..

You're christmas lights that do not light up may be down to a loose or blown bulb in the circuit, unravel them to make sure. Regards John
