that elephant thing is hand carved and it is used to display books, with each elephant serving as a bookend at either end. The unevenness may be due to the wood "warping" a little but if you use heavy books at the right end, eventually it would likely even out.

Divide and conquer. It is great to see your man out there with you. I haven't watched this since I religiously watched this before Covid. That was over 2 years ago. Anyway, I'm back watching and it is thumbs up all the way. I truly admire you Breakfast. You inspired me. During Covid I learned how to use EBAY and Facebook Marketplace. I walked the alley's here in Calgary. I found an online auction site. I hauled so much stuff home, walking, on the bus, in backpacks and bags, and managed to pay all my rent and all my bills every month. I have had a good job for 4 months now. Those 2 years have not gone to waste though. I know I can survive. I just want to, sincerely, thank you for helping me do that.

Hi Friend, the next time you come across something like the pink rocker, although it wasn't in good shape, you should take it and use it as a planter in your yard. You can DYI it, drill holes in the bottom for water drainage and make it really cute and unique.

That rack you said was a towel rack is a plate rack. You hang it horizontally with the loops facing up and put to decorative plates inside the loops on the little shelf. The loops help keep the plates from falling. I have one like it that hold three plates.

Kelly I would use the little table in the back yard. If you wanted to you could spray paint it with a bright color. You and hubby are so much fun to watch!

Great video!! You may already know this but I have learned that if you see or have things with cords that don't work, clip the cords off and just throw them in a bin (including old extension cords you find). Even if you see stuff on the side of the road on trash day. Apparently recycling places will pay 85c to $1.00 a pound for them because of the copper in them. Keep an eye on the going rate for copper and then just turn in your cords when the bins are full. Love your videos!!

If it's 37 degrees outside the pizzas should be fine. That's about the temp of the average refrigerator. If in doubt smell them. Same for meat, cheese, milk etc. Also if you ever find eggs do the float test. Put whole egg in a bowl of water. If it sinks it's still good if it floats toss it. Do you ever watch Freakin Frugal?

I do take frozen food when it’s that cold consistently, but it was 37° because of a storm front that rolled in that morning. The night before (when we suspect they were tossed) it was in the 60s. And yes I enjoy their videos!

It was more rural, with lots of farmer, they would know better than I. Never had any returns or complaints about them. They come out of a warm chicken...

I live in an apartment complex, and my unit is within sight of the well maintained dumpster. It’s been like a thrift store for me. I can usually spot something pretty quick, and have gotten many nice things. Even Fiesta ware!! No kidding, I’ve seen people throw two nice guitars into the dumpster recently. I’m moving soon… I hope someone else will enjoy all the free stuff as much as I have.

Hi Kelly and Alex! That pink cradle would make a really cute flower bin... sanded, painted in your choice of color, fill bottom with peat moss or coconut coir, and potting mix... put in your plant starts or seeds, keep watered, and Voila! Dollar Tree is selling small boxes containing 500 seeds called a "Flower Rocket" with beauitiful selections of flowers that would also be great in the Cradle Flower Bed. Loving your Backyard Nest!! Starting a compost bin in your back yard would be a great addition. All the fruit, bananas and other food waste. Have you ever considered getting chicken? They eat a lot of food waste too. Whenever you bring home any electrical items from the dumpster, let them sit for 48 hours to dry out any moisture and 95% of the stuff works great. Good job sweetie!

You will find loads of yard stuff on bulk garbage week . Here in ft worth it’s always next to last full week of the month. I have found more beautiful pots for plants, haven’t had to buy any the last 2 years. Also broken drawers make great above ground beds for vegetables and herbs. Have a great week

Definitely an adjustable book holder! I have one that my daughter made in shop,same principle, and they work really well. I just saw a lampshade made from slides. You might not have enough for a full lampshade but they could be part of one!

Love your yard. It is soooo big. Lots of possibilities. Can u drive into it? Old trailer or van fixed up for backyard glamping? I use my yard a lot (much smaller)...I think of - Times of year/weather. Shade structure with screening. Outdoor fan - keeps bugs confused. Warmer shelter. Simple water feature. One idea I use is a stock tank for a hot tub. Lol. Plastic. Or metal. Can be moved easily. Simple plumbing valve on tub to use the water on the plants = no waste. U just need to get an outdoor hot water spigot. My plumber put in an outdoor shower and bath tap for me. or run a hose out a window. Lol. In future. I can see you collecting those pallets and random firewood that you come across. For the backyard fire pit. 👍💐❤️ Vegetables in pots. You passed up a big pot for plants. Lol. Much easier in bins or pots. Might check out Robby and Gary Gardening easy. You tube channel. Lots of great ideas. Thanks for your channel. ❤️👍
