I have a Steelman "torque wrench tester". I have checked all my torque wrenches and have noticed that it really makes a difference where I'm holding/pushing the handle. Even a half an inch toward the end or toward the anvil will make a difference of a percent or two . I like that you have three devices here for checks and balances.

Nobody cares about how accurate the Vim torque meter is. We know it's pretty accurate and pretty darn close to what it should be, and that's good enough. We all know the snap on digital torque wrench is the best. Let's break some stuff on that thing and see what all this hype is about with these 200% asme rated Vim products, and how strong some of this stuff is!!

I noticed a little bit of slop in the adapters and I could play a little bit of variation in with it but all in all, I thought it was pretty solid. If it’s price decent, I’d probably get one.

Next time you test torque meters, can you test them individually. I feel stacking them will throw off the measurement.

Micrometer style needs to be set to 0 split beam style Does Not need to be zeroed for storage.

Great video, if you wouldn't mind possibly next time if you test torque wrenches test the adapter with a rachet or something and the click style separate. Torque is measuring the force turning which I think the amount of force on the split beam is being slightly used to in the adapter and causing the snap on to go earlier than the other two

Compare them separately. Your using the snapon to tighten the vim. It is working more .

You should try them separately. Two strane gauges together might cause issues

Hey Clay ! When you get any more than 2 types of dgiital devices there is always gonna be a variance of spec and it is almost impossible to get them to read accurately together . I am waiting for someone to stand on the pipe and on the long handle ratchet to see where the malfunction point is ..... Lol Just busting Clay , I dont wanna see anyone get hurt .......
