“She is actually the selfish, self centered person that cares about her self first and doesn’t care about you”. Is what I really needed to hear. Our whole relationship was me taking the steps to make it work and changing myself in whatever small ways were necessary to grow as a team. The moment I needed her to change, she cracked and ended it. I haven’t slept more than 3 hours in weeks. Thank you for this video. Edit: it’s been a year and a half now since posting this, and to everyone asking how I’m doing now, or if it gets better, I’m here to say yes! Since then I lost 35-40 pounds to get back in really good shape. I got in to power lifting, and switched up my careers. I now do cyber work for the Defense Department. I will tell you all this: that heartbreak was the best thing to ever happen to me. Let that heartbreak light a fire in your soul, and become the best man you can become.

Breakups are where champions are made. They leave you for someone else after all those months, or even years you guys were together. Making you feel like you weren't good enough. Two things you can do: Either confirm it by having her (or him) see you all upset, crying & depressed, or you get the hell up and crush all your boundaries. To my ex-girlfriend: Thank you for leaving. That taught me that I should never put anyone above me. The pain I was forced to go through ended up making me into the best possible version of myself I could've ever imagined. I learned to love myself. I started working out harder than I ever did before, eating healthy 24/7, significantly cutting back on alcohol, reading books regularly, made countless new friends, and went back to school. 24 hours in a day. 6 for sleep, 18 for grinding. Nothing else matters. Get up, dust yourself off, and prove them wrong!

It’s been 3 years since the break up and I can tell you this to anyone reading this. I know it hurts, I know time is moving so slow, the memories are constantly playing in your head, the sleepless nights feel like things will not get better. You hesitate to text her and you sometimes do and you end up getting hurt again. You look for any hope to be back together and make things right, all of this playing in your head is just killing you deep inside you. You feel unworthy, unhappy, lonely, stressed because of the whole break up. Don’t give up on yourself, keep going, keep pushing, do whatever you can to distract your mind and soul from this, use that anger and pain as motivation to be a better person. Don’t check up on her, don’t check her social media, just block her, erase all the texts and her number. You don’t need to go back to the same pain that put you through this. Let time heal you. Your life isn’t over, this is the opportunity to enjoy your life and discover yourself again. I’m over my ex and I’m happy where I’m at, I accomplished things that I didn’t think I was going to do and now I’m going to enroll in school to become a Registered Nurse and hopefully be a pediatrician like I always wanted to. Life gets better once you start to realize how much fun life really is and how far you can. You’ll end up finding someone but don’t be in a rush to look for it, first you gotta focus on yourself and fix all the problems you have in your life

First off , I'm really sorry this happened to you but happy that you could rise from the Darkness to be a better versión of you're self , so I'm in the same boat , this happened after New years (2024) she left me for another guy , supossadly because this New guy is in the same page as her , they both want kids NOW ! I wanted also children but didn't wanna rush it , also the new guy has money , I'm a normal guy that works a normal job , I'm trying to keep my self busy , work more hours , save up money to buy my own house, wanna open a side hustle for extra money , I havent done it but I wanna go to the gym etc just wanna be a better human being , sometimes I believe I wasn't enough for her , now I know that wasn't the case , she's just a selfish woman who only cares for her self , I wanna hate her for what she did to me but I just can't I still love her , but I know that love has to die ,every day when I wake uo I check my phone to see if I have any message from her or a misses call ... something ! Or thinking I'm gonna wake up from this nightmare , just to release this is my reality . I was wirh her for almost 4 years , I thought she was gonna be the last woman in my life and I was gonna be the last men is her life , but she had other plans . To everyone else going trough something like this or something even worse , remember , life ,the universe , GOD HIM SELF , will take something from you're life without you knowing in that moment it's really a blessing and that person that got moved was just occupaing space from another person that's really meant to be in you're life and love you how you deserves to be loved , this is one of the many things I say to my self every day , it helps , a bit , please brothers and sisters you will rise from this heartbreak and become a better versión of you're selfs , be sucesfull ...... I truly wanna believe everything gets better later , I really do ! 😢

We were together for almost 3 years. I spent the entire time changing things about myself to fit her narrative, but in the end it wasn't enough for her. We had plans to buy our own home out of state, I was a step dad to her daughter and I loved her more than life itself. Listening to this video helped give me a better perspective on why she isn't the Saint I made her out to be in my head. When it came down to it, she demanded perfection from me - but she refused to change in any way. Self centered and selfish. You're not alone in this heartbreak boys!

I found this video 11 months ago after going thru a break up of a 5 year relationship and it helped me a lot more to push through those days I thought i couldn't. One advice i can give you if your going Thru this is, go to the gym or exercise, push yourself and even on the days that you feel good and think u can "ease up" don't darker days will come and only discipline will help you push past those days. On the days I would wake up and felt like nothing mattered i always told myself "just make it thru the day" "just one more day". And just like that it's been 11 months im in great shape and I can only thank the past version of me for gritting his teeth and pushing thru. There are better days to come hang in there kings 👑

I was married for 14 years to a woman I didn't think was perfect, but I loved her unconditionally. While turning my life around, becoming a better person for her and my son, she was hiding the fact she filed for divorce and was leaving, taking him with her. I didn't find out until the day before. Now I come home to a 3 bedroom apartment that I can barely afford, one that I got for my family, so they could be safe from the part of town we used to live in. So my son could go to better schools. I sat down in that empty place we once shared together and realized, whatever I have now, I will always have more in the future. Guys, there are some really shitty women out there. Your mental health does matter, even though it feels like it doesn't. I thought she was my best friend, someone who would support me the same way I did for her, I was wrong.

My partner left me and drug me through the dirt when I needed them the most. I was in a situation where everything around me was falling apart, I was breaking if not already broken and she let me fall and shatter when I was looking for someone I could count on to help me through my struggles. To anyone who's gone through or going through something similar. I have something to share that I realized while being in that situation. You didn't need HER the most in that situation. You needed support, you needed comfort and you needed affection. It wasn't HER that you needed. When you need someone the most reach deep and find it in yourself. Be kind to yourself, if it was a rough day let yourself know it'll be okay and there's always tomorrow. Remind yourself of your accomplishments. Look back and remember all the things you got through and achieved when they weren't in your life. You did it without them. And most importantly love yourself through thick and thin. Tell yourself that you're worth it. Tell yourself that you're strong and whatever you're going through will make you stronger. Instead of HER being constantly repeated in your head, constantly repeat positivity about YOU in your head. Imagine if all the love that you gave or are giving to that person, you gave to yourself instead. Your heart and mind would be where you find your peace. Love yourself. Keep your heads up fellow kings and keep moving forward.

Forgive yourself and your significant other and find something (not a person) that makes you happy . I didn't realize how unhealthy it had become and blamed myself for any issues, when it was her issues that she projected onto me. She left last month out of nowhere as the relationship rapidly went downhill. Now I'm waking up and realize she was never the person she presented herself to be. I need to let her go, she gives me false hope that eventually we will work out, while at the same time she keeps her options open for something better. I do love her, but I need to love myself more. @@realzhella6817 No one is ever lucky to lose someone they love. No matter the state of the relationship. Life is always doing things for reasons, and I sincerely hope to anyone who hasn't been so lucky to meet someone to love, that they get that experience. Though losing someone you love through anyway is never an easy thing, and is not something ever to be lucky to have. To those who took their lives at this, I can't help. Though anyone who is sad enough to have that want or feel like that's the right thing, I'll fully say it's not. Build yourself up, you're the foundation of your relationship as well as your partner. Remember your own identity, as well as yourself as a couple and that will make you feel better when you break up. If you never make it to a relationship, wait to find the person who you can be with, or are meant to be with. Love was never made to be an easy thing, because it's not love when it's off the spur of the moment. That's ignorance.

“If you take action with your body your mind will follow” is the truest thing I heard in this video. There’s going to be days when you feel like curling up in the fetal position and want to do nothing and die but those days are when it’s most important to get up and do something productive. Even something small like picking up the garbage in your room. Just something you can hang your hat on and eventually you can start stringing enough of the small things together to feel like you’re bettering yourself which will make you feel better. I came back to this video to share because I was in the hole a few months ago and that’s the best advice you can follow to get out of it

It was only until I woke up and realized that that person did not care about me at all and that they were was manipulative and using me in so many ways. I am so grateful to see videos like this to help see the way the mind works. Because as long as you’re building up this false person in your head, it’s you that’s creating the pain for yourself. It’s only until you realize that when you love yourself enough to get up, work out, go do things with your friends, and rebuild your life that you stay in the rut. Love yourself enough to get up! Care enough about yourself to not let the depression of a false made person keep you down!

14yrs married, she left, broke up and haven’t talked for over a month. Kept myself busy at work and the gym. Still missing her, but gotta move past it, hopefully soon.

I’ve been listening to this everyday. I have the discipline and this is just the extra motivation I need. Spent years in one of the most emotionally abusive relationships I have ever experienced. Take care of yourselves, don’t stay stuck somewhere you aren’t meant to be. Get after it 💪

Needed this so badly. Words don’t mean nothing to some people they just say to say it but don’t really commit to it. My gf broke up with me bc she wanted to left alone, didn’t have the same excitement or didn’t feel same anymore. She would tell me things like I meant everything, idk what I would without you and now she’s without me fine, wasn’t afraid to lose me but I was. Action speak louder than words is so true and she proved it.

Today my girlfriend ghosted me... I cried for 3 hours straight, but then rage and insanity replaced my overwhelming sadness, the pain, the burning pain I felt in my heart, it made me want to train harder, become better and prove her wrong. And most of all, made me want to become better, improve. Thanks for this.

Late to reach this video. My ex dumped me a month ago , ever since then I was in denial ,angry and depressed. I took her to be the perfect person in my life to get married. Fastasy was what kept me to believe she was best. This video really opened my eyes. Thanks brother.

I went through this. It's very true. I thought she was the one but it really was just an illusion of what i built in my mind. I went through such brutal mental and heartache in 2019 and 2020 but i knew i had to cut her off completely and forever because of betrayal. No matter how much crying and pleading they do to try and keep you , once you are betrayed and abused it's over. And now you are left to refocus and find out who you are and rebuild yourself. It's not a victory but a learning experience that truly changes you because of what you experienced. I will never let anything or anybody get that close to ever disrespect me again. And i will move on a stronger man now.

"The person that you built in your mind , that person doesn't actually exists. they aren't real. She wasn't who she appeared to be . that's your memory. That's what you built in your head" That part hardly hit. Thank you!

That was the most inspiration that I’ve heard, I’m going through a rough break up (she cheated) and now I finally get it! Thank you so much, I’m not looking back now, those 7 years were wasted, I’m not wasting a second more on her, it was all a fake illusion.

I'm a month in to being single after a 9 year relationship. She got a new career and new lifestyle very quickly within the last few months of our relationship. I want her to do well. But, obviously, the biggest thing that hurt was the feeling of "Oh, so your life is improving and I can't be part of that?". I started to question everything of the last 9 years. Had I just been a stop gap until something better came along? Possibly. She picked a career over me and everything we'd been through. I don't hate her for it. Sometimes, people have to do what's best for them, and I'm sure I'll see MY greener grass, eventually. I think the line of "That person you built in your mind...doesn't exist" really hits home. I've got things I need to improve on. But, so does she. Maybe us being not being together is what's best. In the last month, I've started working out, seeing friends more, seeing family more, got in to some new hobbies and have generally been learning to be comfortable on my own. I still hurt, at times. But, the good days are currently overshadowing the bad days. It takes time. But, if someone doesn't want you anymore...don't dwell on it. It's check mate. All you can do it start a new game. But this time, write your own rules.
