I've discovered you 5 years ago ordered your Mi40. Your the only fitness guru that I listen to!!!!! All the other fitness guys don't explain the science like BPak they don't tell you, you have to work the muscle in the shorten position. Non of them period MI40 nation all day 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

I’m 6’3”, I utilize unorthodox grip positions on alot of movements, it targets the muscle better.

The most helpful IFBB. Hopefully you can get Dr Serrano back on the podcast, he was so close to touching on some points with diet but just didn't quite get there with so much to talk about, thanks Ben!

They “Elevate” in the frontal plan not the transverse. Protraction / retraction on the other hand would in fact be transverse.

you also said once that if you flex one muscle hard enough in it's shortest range, it should hurt in 5-10 seconds even WITHOUT any resistance, for instance, when you extend all the way back and extend the elbow, the triceps start to burst and need to relax because it hurts, I can do that with my biceps, pecs, quads, hams, BUT i can't do it with my delts, what should I do?

train your rear delts first then after that grab a ez curl bar or short barbell and do side lateral raise but sue the other hand to grip onto a poll and have a slight lean toaward the side your working. Focus on that rear delt thats already has a pump so contract your rear delt while your leaning and kep that rear delt contracted and do a side raise. You should feel the "cap" of your shoulder come alive. make sure your elbow is above your wrist as well. the point of the lean is to help relax you traps so their only used at the top range of the motion and not the whole range.

But a strong muscle is a big muscle and vise versa they work in concert and you can't separate one from the other

Deadlift 750 and rowing 5 plate, from a personal mental standpoint were never going to be big enough. But there's no way with those numbers you didn't have an impressive back lol.

How can you ever be strong in the weak position, if by definition it's always going to be weak? Sorry Ben, that's an oxymoron. Biggest brain in the industry, right. I must be an Einstein then.

Jim Jones , thanks for your reply back. 35 years of bodybuilder and NPC competition back 89 to 94. Mostly eastern competition. I think I have enough experienced, wouldn’t you agree. Let me explain in easy term. Power lifter don’t have to have good form just techniques. Body builder is extract and extend your muscles to the fullest contraction either out or in. You don’t always have to try something new. Give me a plain barbell and I can still get my goals done.
