Great recipe, I also made granola with Buckwheat groats after soaking 1 cup buckwheat and, adding sesame, sunflower, hemp flax meal and chopped nut of choice. You may add oil or sugar of choice, vanilla and cinnamon. Bake on low flame for 45 minutes. Serve with hot milk and dried fruit

Thank you for this video! I'm going to re-invent it to a T1 Friendy type tomorrow not sure how it's going to turn out the first time but I'm sure I will get it better in time! looking forward to trying it out but I'm going for a Cinnamon type though I'm not a fan of Cinnamon it's supposed to be good for Diabetics! So I need to find a way I like it and this might do the trick! Thanks!

Did this today for the first time, but without the toppings at the end. Only manage to eat 1/3 of it with slice of bread and vegan cream cheese. Was way better then Quaker oats :)

I'm not one to usually have porridge, but this actually looks quite tempting! Going on a super healthy streak and will try this with Clearspring's power porridge with buckwheat, quinoa and chia seeds. Hope it works. Thanks, Wild Dish!

Roasted, unroasted, groats, sprout...etc. I'm new to Buckwheat and love what I've heard about it but what kind of buckwheat and in which form should I ask for it in my local whole food store or online? Can anybody guide me please? I want to cook it like oatmeal or rice with as much of it's nutrients intact if you get me!
@denisegarcia35863 жыл бұрын
if you cook it like rice, then the brown roasted buckwheat is good for dinner. the unroasted groats you can eat for breakfast, like a overnight buckwheat groats.

I live in Latvia and we make buckwheat porridge all the time, the only ingredients you need are buckwheat flakes and milk, maybe some butter.

buckwheat shoud be roasted before cooking. nobody eat green buckwheet - it's terrible. you can easily buy a roasted buckwheat in any "russian" shop in us - it's called "grechka"
