Dchunk. You are so right! I’ve watched so many of these videos of people doing hashbrowns on the Blackstone griddle and it seems to hashbrowns spend more time in the air than they do on the griddle. Spread them out , press down and leave them alone. Let them crisp on the bottom then flip them if you want.

That was truly outstanding. Everything came out perfect. Nice technique on the easy over eggs. I think you have a future as a short order cook. My grill came with an optional bacon alarm. It works like a low fuel indicator in a car. If the bacon level in my home gets below 3. lbs. it sets off a siren and red flashing lights. The French Onion Melt looks good. Everyday BBQ & Cooking You just cooked greasy bacon and sausage and the eggs looked so clean After you clean griddle does the paper towel wipe clean or is there still black on it ?
@EverydayBBQ4 жыл бұрын
You have to keep going over it with water and paper towels while it’s hot until the paper towels stop picking up stuff. It’s not hard but if you don’t do it you’ll build up a layer of sludge that will have to be sandblasted.

That’s exactly what I have but they aren’t black until you season them and cook on them.
@Garth20116 жыл бұрын
Thanks for showing off the Blackstone. Regarding "over easy" eggs, "Basted" is how you did them in this video. They seem the same but aren't because the tops are nice and smooth vs. over easy cooks or fry's the second side. Depending on the chef, they will have too much heat and brown the egg whites....most folks don't like that so basted is a nice option to at least avoid the tops from chefs who use too much heat. Eggs truly take low heat and more time to come out "perfect" no matter which version you want. Also, hash browns are typically cooked with a hotter griddle and left alone vs. stir them up. Lay them down flat, leave them until the bottom is browned, flip them until browned then get them off the heat so they remain fluffy inside. More butter or oil is the key to getting them to brown in a fair time before they dry out.
