We've used this griddler for a variety of items including steak, fish, vegetables kzbin.infoUgkxMcXT6_MuT0hB3ejyGQQHaeof9bwoWPUf and mushrooms and it's been great! Gets that great smokey flavor when using high heat or sear. The grill works amazingly simple and very low smoke for what it is. Heat gets up fairly quick, especially on closed position. The griddler side is fairly simple, better for eggs and pancakes rather than any cooking. Use the flat plates with the grill side if needed.Cleanup is easy and having heat on both sides is great for cooking a large amount or panini press.This definitely gets hot though so be careful with the sides.

As a 'cook' myself, I watch a lot of KZbin videos on cooking. I just have to say how refreshing it was to come across your channel...featuring the cooking techniques instead of 'personalities' trying to be the highlight of the presentation. At first I was skeptical about how it would all turn out, but you nailed it! Congratulations, proud to be a new subscriber!

I see a lot of comments about the hash browns and sausage being pre- shredded and the sausage being pre-cooked. These guys are cooking a lot of food for a lot of hungry people, especially kids, so you have to cut corners where you can or they would have been there at the grill a lot longer and food probably wouldn't be as good. Aside from being Pats fans, you guys did a great job. Awesome.

Nice job! Everything looks great! Added tip: Unlike with grills, it is very important that wherever you move or rotate the Blackstone, make sure it is nice and level before firing it up. I noticed that the eggs were giving you trouble. Check it with a level if you have to. This is very important when working with things like eggs or crepes. If you make sure it is level first, maintaining better control over the eggs will be much easier.

Minor tip...the griddle should be almost level with maybe a hair tipped towards the grease trap. This way your eggs don't run away. Second biscuit cutters and some non stick spray make great egg molds for sandwiches.

Hi there Griddle Guys. Thank you very much for the video. I certainly learned a few tricks. Especially steaming the egg for over-easy. I am going to use that one. Most BBQ's in New Zealand are set up with a griddle (we call it a hot plate) and a grill. I have gone a step further and have a large BBQ for each. So I have got plenty of Griddle real-estate to try some of your methods. Great Video.

How hard is it to clean?
@mattk970
@mattk970 5 жыл бұрын
@@thebigmann81 Easy, once its seasoned up its crazy easy. I bought the blackstone accessory kit, it comes with 2 spatulas and a scraper. About the messiest thing I cook on mine is stir fry. After adding the sauce to the veggies and all alot of it sticks and burns onto the griddle top. All you need is some water to loosen it up, scrap the stuff right off and into the grease pan in the back. I use a blue shop papertowel(doesnt leave lint)to wipe it down afterwards and your done. Usually clean up is 5-10 mins tops.

It will be lunchtime before breakfast has been cooked and consumed. big breakfasts need a bit more planning if you dont have a commercial outfit. bacon can be 1/2 cooked and chilled the day or week before. I tailgate with 5lbs of bacon and its done within 20 min of setup. A for effort though.

@@TheGriddleGuys First few bacon to get some grease going then start the hash browns, you can work in more bacon fat then as you go thru the rest of the bacon. :) Works like a champ. btdt.

Thanks for checking out the channel Joe! I hit yours, I like it! We have camp chef propane smokers that we love. It's tough where we live to regulate temp using charcoal and/or lump wood alone. The propane takes alot of the.... pain out of it! Keep on cookin bud!
