Charlamagne did the right thing as a Black man restoring respect and integrity to this Black woman in a public fashion. I will acknowledge that. However, even if she would have lost that would not have not diminished the validity of the cause! She deserved and still deserves much more respect. And we have to start bringing more value to ourselves as a race. We all make mistakes but stop judging people’s situations when you don’t have all the information. If you’re wrong, you’re wrong. It’s okay to apologize.

I think this is a lesson of how black men sometimes invalidate black women's pain and the systematic injustices they face on a daily. And how harmful such an act is. The BC added to Monique's vilification and helped the forces that tried to blackball her. I wish CTG would have a more nuanced conversation about how harmful it is to not believe black women. How important it is to protect black women, even in the face of powerful people, especially when they are themselves black. Oprah and Tyler Perry cost this women her career, and no one has rectified the financial cost that this vilification has done. Words are powerful guys, pls be responsible with your platform.

Seen too many videos of black women getting physically assaulted by wht men and no one coming to their aid. Or wht men getting very aggressive with lone black females in public. No one gets that it's Netflix who won. If Mo'Nique "won" she wouldn't have gone on Club Shay Shay. I watched the entire interview and she had NOTHING to promote! Only complaints!
