@@opppopp2322 Lmao, Gus fucked it up by trying to kill Walter for saving Jesse's life. As Walter said after he saved Jesse, Gus could either put all this behind them and let Jesse go, or he would have to go against Walter. All that Jesse did in the first place was to kill two people who murdered a child, and we don't know if Gus ordered that or not, but if he did, he is evil, and if he didn't, his only problem with Jesse is that Jesse did something that Gus would do anyway. In conclusion, Gus's arrogance and need for control made him intent on killing Walter and Jesse for no good reason. (Yes, he was going to kill Jesse too, he was just careful to separate them so that neither would have any defense.) Gus caused his own downfall and the destruction of the lab. People like you who ride Gus and Mike will always cope over how Walter killed some criminals to save his own operation, as if Gus and Mike never did anything worse. Plus, the lab was exposed by Hank, not Walter.

@@repatch43 You’re misunderstanding why Mike kept around Walter as Mike didn’t stick around Walter out of choice, he did it out of necessity. Mike was forced to be around Walt once Gus brought Walt into their operation and only reason he didn’t eliminate Walt was because they needed him alive to keep Jesse happy. Then in season five, he stays around Walt because he needed Walt to help cover his tracks from Gus’s operation by destroying the evidence laptop, and then he needed Walt so he could make money that could be used to pay off Gus’ men that were in prison. If Mike didn’t work with Walt, then he would’ve had bigger problems from the DEA to worry about. However, once Mike is compromised and can no longer continue the operation, he pretty much immediately goes to sever ties with Walter because he no longer needs to work with him and wishes to avoid him.

As soon as the cousins open the door, and you see them standing there with the ax, I got some “The Shining” vibes. Am I the only one who thinks there’s a bit of symbolism at the end with the eyeball? Sure, he realized it was odd that is was laying like that when he knows he didn’t leave it like that, but just the fact that the eyeball was looking in his direction. Almost like it’s saying something along the lines that, no matter where he is or what he’s doing, he’s being watched. And it’s true.

3:16 I love the shot of Victor walking up to Gus as he's holding the blueprints or whatever they are, making him look very in charge, calm, and powerful whilst surrounded by the chaos of the laundry. I know Victor gets a lot of hate as a character too (and the actor is not to blame as he was just working with the script and direction he was given), but I think this is one of his better scenes as he perfectly portrays the concerned henchman informing his boss of something important, awaiting an answer, and glancing back at the laundry worker he just walked past in the previous shot (while also concealing the cellphone) to make sure they're not being overheard. Bravo, Vic!
