What makes Walter so interesting is the fact even though he was just a "normal" guy on the outside, neither Lalo or Gus was as intelligent as he was. Gus would never imagine that the person who would end up turning Hector against him would be Walt. And even if Lalo had beef with Walt instead of Gus, Walter would still somehow outsmart him. Pretty scary once you realize how dangerous Walt would be if he had the same resources as Lalo or Gus, he would virtually become unstoppable.

Everyone in my family was watching the show as episodes as they were being created and released. I was too busy. Finally, during Covid I decided to watch it. I was imediately hooked and binge watched the entire series! Absolutly the best show I've ever seen in all my 64 years! Not a bad part. Well, the Fly episode was a bit long! Now I just hope once I age to the point of losing my memory I can watch it over and over and it will be all new each time! And I agree with others, Baby Blue was the perfect closiong song!
@lll-livelovelaugh435111 ай бұрын
Funn fact: The episode with the fly was shot like that because they were over budget so they couldn't really afford to shoot at any location so they had to rely on a location they owned and built themselves so they chose the lab. Btw this is not some theory, this is from the creator himself, and according to him this is actually quite common in tv-shows that they go over budget on staff and shooting locations so they have to shoot an entire episode from only one location.

Contrasts between the crawlspace scream and Walt's literal last moments on screen at the end are practically begging to be analysed. What I noticed is that in the crawlspace scene, the music and tension are underlining the danger in which Walt is now, but it also resembles an open casket, clearly symbolising 'Oh yeah, Walt is already dead', and in the final one, he obscured by pipes, which could just mean that even if he survived, he would have been behind bars anyway. What I took away from it the most, though, is that in both scenes, Walt is almost laying in the exact same position, and with the camera panning away in both scenes, it underlines how in both scenes, something in Walt died. I think that's what makes the Crawlspace scene the true moment 'Walter became Heisenberg', because in his own egotistical and paranoid mind, from that moment on, there were no choices left and he fully embraced his most selfish and criminal persona, while excusing to himself that he had no choice. That was the moment 'Walt' the protective Father died, as he was still surrounded by family and little to no money just as he started with. In the series finale, what remained of Heisenberg died, as he was surrounded by no friends, no family, no associates, just the materialistic things he always loved; a chemistry lab. One specifically built for cooking meth.
