Think about it. You are a security person standing in an entryway. The church accommodates up to 20,000 people. A woman, with a young child, approaches the door. Would you be suspicious? I’m not sure where the gun was, but please don’t be so quick to blame security. I don’t believe anyone on a security team takes the job lightly. Good question: the lady entered when there had to have been a change in volunteers as the spanish service was about to begin. She entered a side of the bldg where there are security guards/off duty police officers, etc. The building is surrounded by police officers. It appears that she parked her car on the street on a side of the church were few people enter. She left her car doors open & I believe her car was still running. There are little if any people that she could have intercepted as this is a very quiet side of the church) However, the police and security guards are right inside after entering. She could not have gotten far into the building with that much security inside.

She was in one location and barely got in before the off duty officers shots fired. Lakewood is very heavily secured as i was a member there. The woman came from a location that was closer to the Greenway Plaza business Park which is also connected to the church and a high end Hotel.

They ccw, stand at doors, greet people and just generally watch for people that look out of place. Some of them have taken self defense courses and actually some kind of cert that allows you to be a security guard in TX. They kind of take it seriously. They don't look like security but if someone walked in looking for trouble one of them would address it.

Humans apart from God’s regeneration, imparted new nature and indwelling are fallen and wicked. That’s why we need Jesus to save us and restore us to the Father through every gifted blessing that flows out of saving grace. Yes demons are real. But The church needs to stop blaming every wicked act on demons in the same way that the world blames everything on childhood trauma. I go to a large church here in Phoenix, Arizona, we had the department of Homeland Security assess our security at my church. We have 7 exits from the auditorium of a capacity of 2,200 people. We also have an officer from the local department on duty and armed!! That officer is on their police frequency in the case he or she needs additional officers. No doubt many of us church goers carry firearms as Arizona allows open or concealed carry with-in state laws. I am going to talk with a person about if the church has an evacuation plan for the five buildings we have. We do have the means to display for all to see screens in which can read "please evacuate the building on the north or east sides, along with the 3 lobby entrances!!! Although I will be praying for the entire congregation, staff and law enforcement, especially for the two that were injured by gun fire. I would like to know what kind of long rifle did the woman possess???

First thing I’d do is start praying binding demons. I worked at a homeless shelter my co worker Edith a 5 foot short lady was going home in the middle of the night and a man high on drugs screaming started running at her she turned to him and said in Jesus name I command you to stop he stopped dead in his tracks looked confused and walked away. My sister woke up in the middle of the night to get a glass of water and a man was walking into her apartment she did the same in Jesus name get out, he ran out jumped off the balcony ( she’s on the second floor of her building). You better know how to pray if you are a Christian. I’ve accidentally walked up on a pack of coyotes hunting with my 10pnd dog, I know how to pray they left us alone chased after a cat I’m 4’10. You better know how to pray. God protected Lakewood from something sooo much worse. The 5 yr old was with the shooter it wasn’t another child.

I pray the 5 year old survives, and I am praying for the family. I pray the 57 year old recovers completely with no lasting physical issues. On a side note, I was confused when the man (who made this video) kept saying the shooter sprayed something on the “ground”. He used that word after saying she had entered the building. The ground is the surface we walk on when we’re outside. The floor is the surface we walk on when we’re inside of a building.
