One of my favourite builds for Hanneman is a Mortal Savant one, giving him a Levin Sword and his spells. The class has Swordfaire and Black Tomefaire. The Levin Sword also gives his Crest a chance to activate. His Speed growth is 10% in this class, which is why I give it up and put all my skills and stat boosts on him into one shotting everything.

Magic Sniper Hanneman is my baby 😍 made a video on him ages ago! If you're willing to save scum feeding cats, you can easily get a steady supply of Arcane Crystals too, so it's pretty trivial to keep his magic bow repaired. This series is always great!

I was pretty curious about Hanneman since my only experience with him is his force deploy in Oil & Water. Yeah, I imagine magic bow would be the way to go since Sniper is an insane class. But I can’t really imagine investing in him personally. It’s sad. I’d love a really badass scholar unit. It would be nice if he had better spells or more utility.

Another plus Hanneman is that he's best abusers of Aura knuckles having access to war master while having the highest male magic Stat growth let's him blow up enemies on both phases .

This might be niche, but I’d like to try him as a bow knight on AM one day. He could use the magic bow from an extended range and canto away on a route that won’t punish him too much for being on a horse. But deciding what to do with him before level thirty is very iffy.

Also Ward Arrow on the route flooded with mages and Bolting is a godsend. Bow Knight Ignatz with Ward Arrow was my man on AM and Hanneman should be the same, or arguably better as he can actually kill shit with his solid magic stat instead of banking on crits. I know it's late but before level thirty go Mage for Fiendish Blow, Archer for Hit+20, Dark Mage for Poison Strike, and finally wait in Sniper until you meet Bow Knight requirements. Poison Strike is because you're probably dealing chip with Bow Knight anyways, especially on Maddening, so might as well go for bigger chip. Dedue can finally move around freely without sweating bullets each turn!

I love using units that have a bad rep in the community, I like it when I get to make a unit work. This is why I really often use units like Caspar, Manuela and Hanneman. Hanneman works best if you focus on his damage output. You’ll never be able to raise his speed enough, but won’t matter if he one-shots an enemy.

You can by hyperfeeding him statboosters and making him gain levels in grappler, using low weight weapons he will double most ennemies, assassins aside. It's a considerable investment though so unless you worship him like I do it's probably not gonna happen.

Later in the game, I decided to go the middle ground between ppl who keep Hanneman as a mage and those who went War Master by turning him into a War Monk and...Has to be one of my more fun classes for him. At least in my opinion

Sniper/Bow Knight with magic bow is fun. Otherwise he makes for a solid Warlock/Dark Knight with one of the best black magic spell lists in the game. He deserves more usage.

Absolutely an outlier but when I played my hanneman somehow managed to make his strength and magic level so he became my nuker that could also use bows like the brave bow. I dunno I guess my hanneman was buff.

Hanneman is pretty fine I guess. His spell list is solid but he's not that great at killing with it since he's slow and the utility is a bit negligible. Then you look at the other Church units that imo have better niches for similar recruitment requirements.

I thought Bow Knight was Hanneman's best class. With hit+20, fiendish blow and bow prowess he absolutely nukes enemies from afar and can keep out of sight to stay safe. You dont even need to use bow combat arts, which save on bow durability and give you the chance to proc his crest to kill even more enemies outright.

magic bow + hunter's volley Hanneman one-shots every bosses from 4 tiles away. He's my favorite glass cannon. Even Lysithea can't reliably OHKO enemies without some stat boosters in Maddening

Lysithea definitely can with Luna, Dark Spikes, Seraphim, thanks to the massive might of the spells alongside her insane magic stat.

@@JonoabboFE I know her magic stat is insane, but have you seen enemies stat in maddening mode? Take example those pesky pegasus/falcon knights with insanely high res and speed. Are you telling me Lysithea can one-shot them without any stat boosters?
