Pretty sure a lot of the fans took huge dumps on Hoglander and put him there with Mikaev. I still want him on the Petterson line with DeBrusk. I like what I have been hearing and seeing at camp. There will be hard decisions made because so many players are stepping up. We should come into the season like a well oiled machine. And hopefully beat the oil out of the %*lers. Love it. Seems everyone is buying in.

Here's how I think the players will do...EP40 - 100 to 110 pts. Debrusk - 40 goals @ 70 to 80pts. Lekkerimaki - 20 to 25 goals @ 40 to 45pts. Miller - 100 to 105pts. Boeser - 45 to 50 goals @ 75 to 85pts. Heinen 20 to 25 goals @ 45 to 50pts. Joshua 20 to 25 goals @ 35 to 40pts. Garland 25 to 30 goals @ 45 to 50pts. Blueger would match or be below what he got last year @ 25 to 30pts but would continue to contribute with his work ethic through the PK. We may have a new 3rd line with Hoglander - Raty - Sponger. Sponger needs to find teammates at camp to gel with in order to compete with the Joshua - Blueger - Garland line. I'd like to see Alriksson with Sasson and Garland until we get our guys back. Bains may put Alriksson in check for that spot. Sherwood may need to battle it out with Garland for a spot or be a spare. He could also be slotted with Hoglander and Raty if Lekkerimaki gets sent down to improve, which pushes Sponger to the second line. Hughes may drop a little due to the separation of Hronek to about 85pts. However, he will reach his target of 20 to 30 goals. Hronek may have a breakout year to prove he can anchor his own pair with 10 to 15 goals @ 55 to 65pts. Will he be able to mentor EPD? Interesting to see which pairing would match with either the Petterson or Miller line. I believe the Canucks will make it to the finals if the top six stays healthy and will have enough depth to fill out the bottom six. Demko return either before Christmas or right after the new year and may be forced to be the 1B goaltender.
