Well done! An important thing to do if you want the best of your barrel.

I just picked up a Sauer 404 and I've cleaned the barrel. With your explaination should I do 5 shots + clean, cool down, 5 shots + clean + cool down? I thought new cold hammered barrels did'nt need break in.

All barrels need a „break in“ to a certain extend. On a microscopic level the surface of the barrel gets smoothed out. This increases overall performance.

Off topic a bit but you also might want to clean out the blue chunks from the bondstrike tips that break. I love how the bullets shoot but not how fragile the tips are, pass it on to your homies at norma.
