It has a piston ring (unlike competition RC car nitro engines), just send it from the get go! ;)

He's not wrong you know😊 I probably don't give my engines as long a break in, but use a similar process, get It warm but not hot keep it rich then slowly Lean

I love my nitros Bert but is there any hope of the cost of fuel coming down? Amain just bumped the prices for 6 gallon cases significantly that I am now considering selling them.

Bert, that was absolutely amazing. I have never seen a model helicopter be flown like that. You must have many years of experience. Serious question now ?! is it possible for me to be able to learn how to pilot a model helicopter without ever learning how to fly a model airplane with ailerons ? or would you advise to learn to fly a plane first? Seriously you must be an ex military helicopter pilot lol. amazing demonstration and info on running in the engine is useful too. thank you.

Thanks for the nice words. It is possible to learn without learning to fly an airplane first. There are also flying simulators that can make the learning process easier before trying it in the real world. Check out “SmackTalk RC” on KZbin. It’s a series I did years ago with Bobby Watts. There are some episodes called “Smack 101” where Bobby goes over the principles of learning to fly. Very useful.
