Hi Yulia, actually post September 1, 2024, those who will graduate through a PPP (Public-Private-Partnership) based college will not be eligible for a PGWP, however a standalone private college which is also a DLI would still be eligible to issue PGWP's, I hope this makes things more clear. Hi Yulia. Does the new rule impact the MBA program at the University Canada West (UWC)? When I checked today, it is still listed as PWG eligible. I also heard some agents are not advised to go for MBA. According to agents, recent PR draws do not give points for MBA. Is it true? Thanks always for your informative videos. Cheers~

MBA programs are not impacted! as for EE, I’m not sure. I think the immigration lawyers might know better 🙏🏼

@@ThisisYulia I have both. I was planning to get my masters in Canada, but the prices are insane. However if I get PR via EE, then I would only have to pay about one third of the price that an IS student has to.

with Master’s and PhD you can get scholarships that might cover your tuition, so it’s not that bad compared to undergraduate scholarships 💪🏼

What if the university that I'm applying to accepts Duolingo English test? Should I take the IELTS as well for immigration? And why can't we use academic IELTS for immigration? It's much harder than general training; if you can get 7 on the academic, for sure you can get 7.5-8 on the general training, so that's a stupid requirement

you can take whichever you like more / is easier for you. you need IELTS general for immigration because that's the rule. maybe one day they'll start accepting IELTS academic
