9:12 Thats a very smart move by Sony, cancelling the pre-orders for the 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro. They haven't even been released yet and people are already asking outrageous amounts for them on eBay. Sony saw that and most likely said "HELL NO" and cancelled all pre-orders so they can figure out a better way to release them instead of all the scalpers getting them. Sony should only sell them on their website and in retail stores, allowing one per customer only.

I think they did it on purpose but they don't want to outright say it. They want fans to get it, but they don't wanna risk getting sued for discriminations.. it's veery complicated. I didn't add this in the video because ofcourse I'm speculating about this.

As someone that worked in marketing/sales for almost a decade and knowing business owners and having small projects here and there, I can tell you that businesses don't operate like that. Small business engage 5x times more involved in shady activities . Why?.. because they are too small to get detected by the system. That's why you'll never hear me say " PS5 pro is 700 because concord flop". Has nothing to do with that. It's a lot more complicated than that. There is no inside job. Most games now even if disk, needs a update to play. So you need Internet to get the rest of the game. I think they mentioned this when call of duty came out the blu ray disk only had MB of data after put on console you would download the rest of gigabytes.

Get a used pre 2013 computer, get a few ssds. A few emulators. A gpu that supports open gl4. An you can enjoy retro games under the same price of a used ps4. I'm not joking BTW.

The new California law still doesn't help gamers because it still not allowing you to own digital games and movies, the law just tells you that you don't own it and it can be taking away after paying full price for it. We need to make them keep physical games and movies by not buying it digitally.

It's not "buy" digital. It's "rent", really. Since you don't actually own it. The only exception being "Good old Games" (GOG), where you can download games without DRM.

@@BraveStars I mean as long as your usage of that digital product is restricted by a license that requires online checks (in other words, DRM) you don't really own it. They can just revoke the license. If, for example, for whatever reason your account gets banned, all your purchases are gone. I don't call that "ownership". That is actually exactly what this new law is about.

I don't see how this law "changes everything". All it really does is to force stores to be honest. And remove terms like "purchase" when what they really do is just licensing something out to you. I don't see how this change of terminology will actually change anything for customers.

So in summary to my longer post. No gamer has ever owned the game itself and this goes all the way back to the Atari 2600. You received a license usage for the game and it didn't matter if it was on cartridge or floppy disk or CD-ROM or DVD or Blu-ray. Digital game 23 on the screen when she download and before first use. Physical media it was included with the game or also on the screen with you installed or first use. Game companies on the game and the code you purchase the license to play it.

Still hate digital. There's not even an option to see all my digital purchases from the past. I knew I have purchased lots of PS4 games digital and now there's no easy way to access sll of them on my PS5. I can't even see the Order 1886 on PS store using the PS5.

I'm lost any interest to default PS5 Pro, my vision Sony needs to cancel PS5 Pro 30th anniversary at all, - & just have 1-2 (00000/00001) copy for their museum of electronics when they keep all first & last version of every consoles from their 30th history. Later just release official PS1 grey plates with color PS logo!

If you can show you have bought them, it's not an issue. Keep receipts. That way if your account is hacked and stolen you can prove your purchases to either A. Have it retrieved or B. Have all purchases attached to the new account.

You can't even back up your games and put them back on a later date if you want to play the game again.. The games would have to verify license and wouldn't be able to. I am not sure if this is a thing with Microsoft and Steam. Sony is just pure ripping people off.

Um no, this cali law should be instituted. People sometimmes need the reminder that a game is LIVE SERVICE AND CAN BE DEFUNCT IN LESS THAN A YEAR. To which companies like UBI will reach into your PC and pull it out of your game library...even though you have payed for it..also the need for constant internet connection on a single player games is insane. You already have the license when i input the code, why the constant connection? The storefront? Why is that in a 1player game? Multiplayer online i can see, but a fecking single player? Look at sony, the PSN what last week? 1000s of people could not play because the authentication/licensing recognition servers went down....no, more like there always online in your face storefront went down.

FYI the latest PS5 Ul was updated to shove ads down our throats. Ads are everywhere, they even replaced beautiful game artwork in the homescreen with ads!! If you buy a ps5 these days just know that, I wish someone had warned me beforehand. It's full of ads, hideous Ul. I updraded from a PS4 pro and regret it. PS4 Ul was gorgeous, PS5 Ul is hideous and full of ads!

@@dailyhubranx It's starting couple of days ago when firmware update 10.01 with Fix for FW10.0 comes. Early I'll see that's advertising only for GTAV when they release new Events, but when I'm disconnected from internet in Settings - the advertising disappeared changing on Default Logo with Michael Franklin & Trevor. But today advertising on all games remove defaults Backgrounds of they. But I don't have opportunity disconnect internet to check like with GTAV earlier.

On PlayStation most of games still on disc full - without day one patches, only games like StarWars Survivor mandatory downloading parts of game, but this question to Electronics Arts & others greedy publishers. 😁

The law that requires specification but I don't know how to tell Gamers this and I've been gaming since the first time 2600. You have never owned any game you have bought why you met on the desk you purchased or the cartridge back in our day. The agreements always specified you do not own the game the data nor can you use it redistributor or alternate Alyssa company specifies you can Citrus they allow mods and such. Just because you bought a game with on the disc doesn't mean you own the game and can do what you want with it for as long as you want it. And the oath specified that a license could be rejected in usage rejected by the company at any time if a person altered change or broke the agreement that you agreed to once you first use it. So the moment you plug in and install a game or play a game or plug in a cartridge to a system you by the agreement. In the old days we had a whole agreement piece of paper in with your cartridge or your game disc. Today A lot of times it pops up on screen you hit agree. Interns could be changed by the company or were the usage agreement and the license key could be revoked at any time. Can use that for extreme violations
