6 minutes or more after the fire is spotted, the local fire dept located around a 1/4 mile from the incident turns up, in force and promptly hoses the vehicle from behind, not one of the 4/5? engines had the sense to immediately attack the fire from the front. I love the way they put on their breathing app when they arrive, rather than kit up on the way as they do in many Euro countries. All in all I give them 1/10 for firefighting and 9/10 for entertainment.

I probably should have put out the nozzle and sprayed water over the top like fire trucks always do, because there was a jet fuel truck on the other side. this is my opinion.🤔

Wow, over five minutes elapsed before the firefighters engaged with the burning truck. They were on the scene a lot faster when the FedEx DC-10F caught fire, several years ago.

A plane on fire is a bigger emergency than an empty car.. cars often burn out pretty fast

Having worked at this airport for 20+ years, this is mind numbing. First off,every couple of gates there is a 350lb Ansul wheeled fire extinguisher,not a single person made any attempt from the earliest onset to bring it out and put the fire out. The tower has a hotline to report directly to fire dispatch, seems that line wasn't so "hot". T810 couldn't make quick access to the fire zone,since the Chief and Battalion chief parked in the way. So very BSO ish

What I'm trying to say is what you said, no one tried to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher, which I think they had a chance to do in the first place, and that fire trucks have nozzles. I wonder why they didn't use that to spray the water on top of the car.I think the angle of the water was also different.If it was sprayed in that direction, it would have been dangerous because the jet fuel truck was in that direction,This is all my personal opinion,But I'm glad no one was hurt.
