The way you talk, the vocabulary you use, the way you carry yourself means sooo much in the face of the public! To get higher end clientele you have to portray yourself in such a manner. The owner AND the employees.

I love this guys humility and transparency! This is is so cool seeing someone go from a life of crime to business, and seeing this guy change his life and way of thinking to succeed in that is something so few people will take advantage of in this country. This guy is the American dream, success or failure, he took the chance in good faith and that speaks volumes. Best wishes to this guy and his business

Great motivation!!!!! It don’t matter how you lived your life or the mistakes you made in the past. What matters is your “today” & your “Now” what your vision & your mission is for success 💪🏼

Mike your first words of advice was great. Way to bring them down to earth and letting them know whats really important. "What the customer wants." So true and we all can relate by what we spend our time and money on everyday. None of us care about what the business is going through we just want great products and service, if not, we'll take our money elsewhere.

this is awsome. outside of the norm that is shown. use the people to run the biz and support the mission. dont have to keep telling people. like mike said most people dont care but each lawn you do helps support that vision and mission. Need more companies like this that want to show that change and reformation can happen. and damn man get those revies mikes gonna give you a websiite free for a year no one does that. Come on man you can do this.

I think it's great that he wants to help ex-felons that actually are looking to change thier lives, yet I would still be careful because uf anything happens it falls on the company. Would always have someone u trust with them to teach them and guide them. Working hard for that $ helps make that young man value $ and how they got it. He should hire some young kids in the summer months for the extra help but also like he said teach them another way of living and responsibility. It's great what he is doing and I hope the succeed ❤

Talented guy! Really enjoy this content. I find sometimes all anyone needs is a nice boss who's approachable, good workmates and a liveable wage. Having that stability can mean the difference between being depressed or going off the rails or having a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Gardening is incredibly satisfying. Love it

I've been doing my own lawn care business for about 6 months and I enjoy what I do. But as a solo it's starting to wear on me. It's lonely out there lol
@short08117 ай бұрын
That's OK! Make sure you're getting sleep. We are all human and wear over time. Keep track of what you're eating. Learn to say no if you are at your personal capacity. If you are at your personal capacity, just raise your prices. This will do two things for you. It will make the penny pinchers drop your service (more capacity unlocked!) You will have clients keep you on board because you have proven you are a high-quality service provider. Guess what? Now you are doing less work for the same amount of revenue! You just have to believe you provide that high-quality service and are worth the extra money. (You are)
@John-v7v4e7 ай бұрын
@@short0811 thanks man. I've been taking care of myself properly. Maybe not the rest part as much as I should. I have raised prices. I was apprehensive to do it so early into the business but I did and only lost two people. I've been turning down work because they don't want to pay me what I'm worth. I know some would say raise prices again but I'm already charging more than most operators in my area.

I love your turnaround videos Mike but this one felt a little "off". I felt it lacked substance compared to so many of your other videos. I appreciate Montez and what he's trying to do but there was 14 minutes of him basically repeating himself and the second half basically boiled down to you telling him he needs to get more reviews, create a website, get more revenue, and focus on markerting his business rather than his mission. To me, this video wasn't as entertaining, edifying, or educational as a lot of your other turnaround videos. God bless you and Montez though, I pray blessing for each of you in continued support and provision from God.
