The "N" in SSBN or SSGN is for the nuclear power plant that provides power and propulsion to the vessels. It is not for the weapons on board. The arming of cruise missiles with nuclear warheads is possible, but the use of them against targets in range of the eastern Mediterranean Sea is questionable.

Don't get me wrong, I like Israel, they've most always been friendly with us, has stood down when we asked, and is the only ally in the middle east we can trust even a little. BUT! The Ohio & Florida where built as SSBN'S they are the oldest boats of this type. 3 Trident submarines Ohio, Florida, Michigan have been refit to SSGN's and only carry cruise missiles. They no longer carry Trident II ICBM's.

Off the coast maybe, highly unlikely we risk something that expensive just to scare Arabs.
