I attended Gateway last year at the encouragement of a friend. Being there didn't feel right at all and was alienated from her friends group.. Ironically, she hasn't talked to me since the news came out.

A crime is still a crime. Time against child never neglects it being a crime worthy of a prison time. And the $ 50, ooo for therapy and all now legal fees. The elders including James Robinson committed crimes in the cover up. They all knew.

When is enough enough? This issue was dealt with years ago. This never should have happened but it did. The victim and family said they forgave him. He did what his elders required and then went back into ministry. Obviously God has blessed pastor Robert and his family. What does Jesus died on the cross that our sins might be forgiven mean? Pastor Robert has admitted often of his moral failure when he was younger. The reason the victim gave for speaking out all these decades later was so all the other victims could come forward. There haven’t been any. I don’t believe there are any others. I believe Pastor Robert repented, dealt with it was forgiven by God and was given God’s blessing to minister to others. Pastor Robert didn’t build Gateway, God did and God wasn’t wrong. I don’t know how this should have been dealt with this second time around but it has become a very sad situation.

Come out of these mega churches. These are the wolves in sheep's clothing we are warned about. The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. 1 Timothy 6:10 God desires justice, mercy, faithfulness. He wants us to care for one another, especially widows, fatherless, poor and those afflicted or abused. "To do righteousness and justice is more desirable to the LORD than sacrifice." Proverbs 21:3 "In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping." 2 Peter 2:3 These mega churches love to tell entertaining stories but may only throw in a scripture or two. Leave these churches. "Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” Matthew 15:14 “Then I heard another voice calling from heaven, “Come away from her, my people. Do not take part in her sins, or you will be punished with her.” Revelation 18:4

Jesus forgives, but He also said, " If you commit a crime, the world system will judge you, and it is ok. We need to obey the law. It is like if you are driving drunk. Jesus may forgive you, but you will get a dui and go to jail by man's laws.

Thank you for standing up for Cindy. I was sexual abused, starting at age five, and it happened for years . Yes, it is awesome. Jesus healed me and is still continuing to make me whole😮😮😮😊😊😊
