Fun fact : Orelsan is a huge fan of manga. He's the french voice of Saitama (One Punch Man) and I believe he also did the opening of season 2. As for french rap, he's kind of "borderline" and not exactly a "purist". I mean some "true" old french rap groups would be "IAM", "NTM", "Fonky Family" and "113" wich have some funny lyrics too. Finally, the east cost/west coast "battle" equivalent would be in France Parisian vs from Marseille rap (North against South).

The story about the bridge is that they started to build the bridge but didn’t have enough money to finish it. So they stopped the construction and brands and artists gave money to be able to shoot clips or ads on the bridge to help the construction

By the way, I assume your were more focused on the lyrics than the images, but FIY, every single sentence in this song is illustrated in the video. Every single one. And BTW, the two guys at the far end of the lines are Orelsan's producers, and the one on the left has even made almost every of his instrumentals from the beginning of Orelsan's career ! (So yes, he also composed “Basique”) Ah, and the place is an unfinished bridge in Kiev, Ukraine.
