Fun fact : Orelsan is a huge fan of manga. He's the french voice of Saitama (One Punch Man) and I believe he also did the opening of season 2. As for french rap, he's kind of "borderline" and not exactly a "purist". I mean some "true" old french rap groups would be "IAM", "NTM", "Fonky Family" and "113" wich have some funny lyrics too. Finally, the east cost/west coast "battle" equivalent would be in France Parisian vs from Marseille rap (North against South).
