I had no idea that this song was used for Hero Factory, nor did I know that franchise had such a cult following. It's cool though that the energy from the Bionicle commercials found its way to something else. Also this song is a banger

I'm so glad to see Cryoshell come back. I was introduced by BIONICLE honestly, but I love their music so I keep coming back to them. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us!
@eddievanzandt233510 жыл бұрын
Bionicle is what formed Cryoshell originally. If you found them in 2007 (Barraki/Mahri year), great! "Creeping in My Soul" was performed by them that year and was meant to be a single by a band from Advance (LEGO's advertising people) called "Cryoshell". They were formed to do one song for Bionicle videos. It got over 30 million downloads in its release month. That video is what formed Cryoshell, and its success with Bionicle fans is why we still have this great band today. If you're like me and you found them in 2008, they were still Bionicle-exclusive. It wasn't until 2010 when Bionicle ended that Cryoshell was given the boot and it was assumed by LEGO that they would disband. Instead, they've been on Danish TV, have two KZbin channels, and have released a very successful album. And now, as a result of their popularity not just with Bionicle fans but worldwide fans of the band alone (originally meant just for Bionicle), LEGO has brought them back to perform for Hero Factory. So don't feel like a dishonest fan if you found them through Bionicle- you and I are some of Cryoshell's EARLIEST fans!!

Bionicle and Hero Factory have a lot in common, for example: They are the most goated lego lines.
@gellog05307 ай бұрын
They also had another thing in common an unsatisfying end
@possiblyzslot8384 ай бұрын
@@gellog0530To be fair some of the biggest franchises have unsatisfying ends for a huge number of reasons. Pretty hard to write and implement a satisfying ending, especially when you're limited to what a child-friendly toy company says you can make. Hero Factory had huge potential in its story and design to convey a lot more and you can tell it's somewhat satirical in nature, even the whole "We build heroes" tagline. The super passionate people behind Bionicle knew that to write a good story, they were going to have to get around what LEGO was telling them they can't do (eg. Templar's MNOG and Metru animations, story/book writers and other games and other cinematics), and that led to some of the most memorable scenes in Bionicle's history. Unfortunately towards the end of G1, LEGO became less lenient on their rules and I think Hero Factory and G2 lost their appeal due to this.

Hero factory's soundtrack slaps *HARD* And the Animated series and toys themselves strike me as something that people mocked/hated when it first came out, but will possibly be revered as a classic in a few years time. Except Invasion from below. Cool toys with a neat premise, but the short sucked. Nobody had their original voice and their replacements just sounded like they were belting their lines out just to get them done, like, hardly any emotion at all.

People hated it because it replaced Bionicle, and it was pretty simplistic compared to that series in terms of lore, characters, and merchandise. The kids who grew up with HF are now old enough to voice their opinions on the series. Being the target demographic for both of them when they were both producing content I can't speak for everyone. Not to mention the Bionicle reboot came after, which alienated both camps
