Peri got handled so much better in Big Finish. Between Nicola Bryant being more confident in the role and The Sixth Doctor being considerably softer in his interactions with her, it shows the potential of the character that should have been used with her in the show.

this was actually one of the first big finish productions I ever listened to and I think that really helped it feel a whole lot more unique to me at the time. I love the idea of having a blind supporting character for an audio drama and (while somewhat predictable even on the first viewing) I absolutely adore the execution of the story's big plot twist with him.

"Whispers of Terror" is in my top 5 of favorite Big Finish stories of all time. I always thought taking advantage of the audio format worked in its favor.

Do you like Scherzo as well? That is a story where the Audio aspect is crucial.

This is one of my favorite audios ever. For me the setting, the plot, and all the characters do stand out, but especially Matthew Brenher as Visteen Krane.

I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on 6 and Peri reunion trilogy, or at least the first two, Widow's Assassin and Masters of Earth.

This was maybe the 3rd or 2nd classic Doctor big finish audio I listened to, after Jubilee (per your rec) and Sirens of Time. I was still quite early to listening to audio plays and I also have ADHD so I don't remember much of it at all. Unlike Jubilee, though, I don't know if I'll revisit this one. Maybe some day.

Yeah, I listened to this not long after it came out on double cassette. Like Vera, I remember it being okay but don't remember much about it. The 7th Doctor and Ace early Dalek one is a good un. The Genocide Machine I think it's called. Multiple Dalek voice actors too which I wish they still did.

Phantasmagoria was an audio that i went well its an audio but its quite basic. fitting as it only the second one done.

I disagree. It was refreshing to get a Doctor Who audio story that wouldn't work as television. Big Finish have done a few.

I found him unbalanced and abusive and it drove me away.
