I must say Marabeth as I was focusing on your piece as you were adding to it bit by bit and explaining to us your thought process, I saw in your painting a very awesome transparency as though we were looking at a pond that had layers of hidden gorgeous tidbits in the layers of the water, almost as if you dove into it all those petals, leaves, flowers and colorful debris would wash all over you as you went deeper and deeper. Lovely piece, very moving and tactile even though abstract.

The "YES" factor! I am STILL working on my project that I was inspired to do from taking your incredible class! Chomping at the bit to varnish it to really bring out the colors and layers; but 😬 trying soo hard to restrain myself until I truly have that YES Factor!! 😅😅

It’s really hard, isn’t it? I still have to work at it with almost every painting. Tip: if you use an acrylic based varnish, like Liquitex satin varnish, then if you change your mind later and want to keep working, you can!
