If someone leaves you without talking to you about problems in the relationship and don't give you a chance to work on it. Don't take them back. Your ex quit on you. That person will quit on you again.

Beautifully explained. The human instinct, the turn which you mentioned I felt that recently when my ex came back to me. I just couldn't feel the love, even though I was waiting for her to come back. It made me wonder if something was wrong with me, because my response wasn't fitting the bill.

Let me sum this up before anybody goes back to an ex if you have done work on yourself gone to therapy red discovered yourself whatever self development and your ex has not do not go back trust me I made that mistake and I literally wasted 3 months of my life and there was a struggle the whole 3 months if the other person has stayed the same they will look at you as the problem even though you have more Tools in your belt they will never see that especially if they left the relationship just keep this in mind if someone left you there's a reason why they left you they looked at you as the problem so if you go back to this person and they have not done work they will always look at you as the piece that don't fit even though it really is them

Thank you for this comment. I am also struggled for three months,after i fixed myself with God's grace still my ex when i try to reconcile coz i given my ex the space she needs and i set aside my pride and took all the harsh words. We begun talking again but yet the exchanging convo makes me feel she is really cold but yet i ignores it. When it came to a point i need to clarify our situation ,she said If i was the someone who loves her and yet i am also the one who gives her stress it is much better not to commit herself. It was painful for me coz i didn't have someone else ,i never cheated. What she is talking is about ,she always wanted to have a freedom of to do everything like anytime like a single woman with no limitation as a commited person. Even i supported her in everything like career path. I was ready to show that i can change what she dislikes on me but it was hard for me to make her understand. I think she always embracing the past and not aware that we can start all over again. I didn't cheat or anything but yet it was hard for her to forgive.

So I seen it has been 2 years since than have y'all got back together? And when y'all broke up did you go see someone else while waiting for him the change? Reason I'm asking is cause this past week my gf my love of my life of 3 and half years just left me for someone else cause of stuff I done and didn't do I didnt show enough love and affection, I stopped doing alot of stuff that I used to do and to get to the point is she said she is willing to give me another try but she wants to see if she and thus guy has a connection first and she said if it doesn't work out she would give me another chance. She also said that she doesn't believe I'll change so do you think that if she does see that I am changed she'll come back to me? She said she loves me still and wants to be friends and still hangout and it would just be us two but do you think she would once she sees that I am and even if she with the new dude?

@@michaeltrawick1251 Since the 2 yrs we've broken up and gotten back together. Currently we're not together. I've only been with him for the past 4 yrs and I haven't seen anyone else and I don't plan too. My advice would be to have a honest conversation with her just to get clerification that if you show her that your serious this time and do all the things you say you will do, will she choose you because you don't want to waste you time and do all the things you plan on doing and she gets back with the other dude.
@lexislibrary923
@lexislibrary923 3 жыл бұрын
@@michaeltrawick1251 The thing i can tell you about women is that were not going to keep going back and forth with break up and make ups, were not going to keep repeating ourselves. Eventually we will find out that there is someone out there who will do things that we ask for and want out of a relationship and not take you back. So if you truly want her back then show up and show out as much as possible. On the other hand take some time to reflect and figure out what you want as well in a relationship. Is a relationship something you can deal with right now? Do you want a relationship for the right reasons? Or do you need to take some time and get things in order for yourself first before you jump back into anything? Because relationships take two people and if both ppl are not there then, there's nothing you can really do about it but just live your life.

I don't understand how you can exactly pinpoint what i'm thinking and feeling, but this reassurance and advice is coming to me at such a good time. I think I'll give them a second chance, just because It's my first serious relationship, but it will never be the same as before. Also I like to experiment with certain radical situations, such as being in a toxic relationship, just so I can learn what to avoid. It might have a bad ending but i'm really hoping that they will somehow change their behavior, because in retrospect they were just using me for their own happiness and not for ours. I might regret this...

@@lissie3669 Well, since then she broke up with me through text and haven't talked since. But after the "second chance" thing it felt like our relationship was better than before, maybe that's just my own subjective observation but it felt like it. The point is, even though it was super toxic at the end, I think it was worth trying it out and seeing how we would change. Unfortunately she didn't change, neither did I, during the relationship, only after.

In my opinion when you offered your naive innocent humble self they played with your feelings and now you cannot associate with them with the same verve. If you trust again they will hit you hard again. This has happened to me. And you need to start your recovery all over again from scratch and this time feeling even more stupid. Just gave it a second look. This is very wise and insightful! As tempting as it may be to rectify the past "Enter at your own risk!" LOL Still, you may quickly realise you're no longer that much into that person. Am having doubts about them changing though. They may or may not have changed as much. But, if there is a different, a new YOU, people will respond differently.

This is very interesting perspective Susan, I totally love it! Funny how I have always thought that if someone doesn't come back soon, there is no point in giving it a shot. This is a standpoint presented in many relationship books and the bottom line is simple - within first few months there is still attachment between you and it's the only time they can realize that they miss you and perhaps regret it. As time passes everyone cools down and moves on. What do you think on that? This mindset also caused me multiple heartbreak for one person. I desperately waited for a moment when the pain will be at its peak (month or two after breakup) and expected a text or call every minute 🤗 Silly I know. Almost always it ended up horribly. Even if they showed up soon as I wanted them to, they only came back for a moment + only to make it even worse. While I was interacting with them, I was aware that my love is covered by my resentment. I was tense. Expecting them to hurt me again. And they did not live up to my expectations, so my resentment was growing. This was not the time to start over, my mind was not fresh, I was heavy and still broken. So you might be totally right! It's just that first few months there is nothing we want more than our ex running back to us. We are not thinking straight 😇 thank you so much for this advice.❤

ivka mamojkova hi Ivka. I’m really sorry for your experience with this partner. They sound whimsical. That can really hurt. Given their track record, they wouldn’t deserve a second chance. // About the time factor. I like the 3 month mark. (Anything from 2-4). It gives enough time for both partners to change, yet doesn’t erase the remembrance of connection.

Susan Winter thank you 4 your tip susan. I've done all of that but every break up is different. My healing depends on many factors. Sometimes I'm recovered by a couple of months and sometimes I can't be fully ok even after a year. It comes and goes like on a rollercoaster. However, I don't like to judge myself in scenarios when I'm not healed even after year, it's just all natural process that can't be forced too much. I believe nothing ever goes away until it teaches you what you need to know.

It's been three weeks for me since we were last together and his reaching out here and there even though I specifically said I don't want a friendship after he broke my 🥀♥️ heart. I feel the pain so badly although it's eased a little in the last couple of days, I feel far too much😥 to approach clearly, my friend says I should take his offer to reconnect, but im such a wreck right now my communication would come off too clingy and desperate. I want to be valued and that means being in my power. I think your totally right about waiting, we both need to do some work. It's hard I really really want love and a family, but I need to accept the process. Who knows in three months only time will tell. I guess I gotta accept that as a reasonable time frame, and give myself love in the meantime❤️

I dont give second chances at all. Ever. If someone hurts me, or does/says something I feel is disrespectful then I delete them from my life entirely. I block & delete their number, everything & I make it a point to not allow them to know where I am or how to reach me. So I really don't care whether they have changed or not. My love is NOT unconditional & people are disposable. No one is that special that they can't be replaced.
@Rangelong
@Rangelong 2 жыл бұрын
Damn, who hurt you?!? You can’t live life like that. People say disrespectful stuff in heated moments especially couples but if they apologize and truly mean it. Was it right? No, but to act as if everything you say is positive and not hurtful is ridiculous. You may have yourself too high on your own pedestal. However, if someone is physically or emotionally cheating that’s a deal breaker and I can respect your stance on that. Communication is something couples have to work on daily until they get it right. Don’t go leaving every person because they said a bad word to you. You are grown and grown doesn’t mean I’m leaving cause I’m grown. Grown means “at times” sharing your concerns and trying to work through it.

If I want to boot someone to the curb because they disrespected me then I CAN & WILL. It is NOT your place to tell me what to do, what to put up with or how to live. I personally think you are BITTER & took what I said personally because you are the abusive disrespectful type & you expect someone to tolerate it & you are butthurt that I refuse to stand for it & be someone's punching bag. @@spedhead218 It's hostile & irrational according to who?? Who are you to dictate that? You don't have to agree with my thoughts process, but you are in no position to judge it. People can be any way they choose to be, however that doesn't mean that I have to put up with it. I really don't care how "unpredictable" people are, I don't have to put up with it. I am under no obligation to tolerate any bs, nonsense, drama, disrespect, issues, or antics off of anyone. I choose to have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy because I want peace in my life. That is not "wrong" or "irrational" in anyway. If your best friend said to you, "I know this woman who I think would be great for you - she is a liar, cheater, user, abuser, disrespectful, no job, selfie lover, on meds but she is probably a 8 out of 10. Would you ever even think of taking one second to meet this person? Of course not. Then why the hek would you ever take an EX back. NEVER EVER take them back

If person was all that really then yes. But other then that its wrong. I once didn't want to give girl a second chance. It seemed right at the moment. I had my pride. But 7 years later I still regret it. I was too quick to judge and too stuborn. I should have said yes to her. It is really not so simple as you say. People are not robots.

Oh my God....this is what happened to me! I DID fall that madly, deeply in Love with her! And I DID make overtures! I proposed and she said yes! Her Mother and Father both happily said yes to giving their Endorsement and Blessing!........and she was cheating on me with her secret boyfriend behind my back the whole time. I Loved her with my entire Heart and Soul! And now I'm so Heartbroken and Shattered! I can't get over it. I can't get over her. Don't misunderstand what I mean by that. I'm not opposed to getting over her! I WANT to! I want the pain to finally cease. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔

Thank you, @@CorporateQueen. I really appreciate that a lot! I wish so badly it hadn't gone this way. I wish instead she had stayed faithful and loyal. I wanted her to be my Forever. Now I just want the pain and the heavy sadness to stop....I would settle for that.

@@dannyarnold4201 I totally understand. I'm a month split from someone I love. Work on yourself, go get fit, eat well... You are at least 50% of those amazing times you shared. You will start to feel better, I promise you. I'd love to find a man who thought so much of me. That makes you special with so much to give the right person, not the wrong person. Stay true to you. She's not the one you were to have your dream with. There's so much more amazing. Listen to Susan. I also recommend Dating Guy. And Coach Craig Kenneth. Christmas hugs.

I don’t love my ex anymore. I can’t even remember what she looks like it’s been so long sense I’ve seen her. She quit on me. She will quit on me again. Even if she wanted a second chance after leaving me for the dumbest shit. Even though I loved her more than anyone in my life. Walking out like she did. She doesn’t deserve a second chance.

Your videos have helped me tremendously and you are definitely one of the best love coaches I have come across so thank you kindly for all your insight and wisdom. Where do you get all these great tips from if I may ask? If there is a book you would recommend I would be truly grateful and I would definitely read it. I love your videos and watch them on a regular basis sometimes even multiple times since there is so much knowledge. Thanks again Susan and good luck on your journey!

What a lovely message Andreas. Thank you. As for books, anything in the metaphysical category is helpful. The ability to use our mind correctly puts us at a real advantage in creating the life we want. I have a feeling you know quite a lot already. As always, your best guide is your inner wisdom.

I just adore you and your advice... where did you get your wisdom? What I'm hearing is that both people need to have done the very hard work of going within to take a very long hard look at themselves, do some serious work on what their part was, their issues from the past that affected the relationship, maybe some childhood issues... and then hope their partner has also done the same so they can come back together as healed persons who are more ready for a mature relationship as more healthily functioning, less damaged adults. At least that's what some of us truly need to do. I so wish more people that I've gone out with would watch your videos. lol

No. Luckily people aren’t asking someone to change their skin color to be with them. Changing isn’t on the litter when it comes to relationships it’s the inner.

Hey Susan, Thankyou for your enlightment about this! My (ex) boyfriend treats me really really bad when he is mad or even when he is frustrated. He said he wants to hurt me on purpose and Cause me pain if he is mad. So he will say all of the mean things to hurt me he will threathen to break up with me if I don’t do what he wants. We went with eachother only 1.5 months and I didnt trust it anymore to be forever with him... I looked at him differently, didn’t saw the person I knew anymore. So I broke up and he is so broken. He cries a lot and thinks it’s unfair. He begged for s second change because he said he will change and not be mad at the way he always is... I don’t know what to do

Can it work if both partners were young (18 and 19 years old) and the relationship was casual s*x? The relationship was very disrespectful but they’ve both matured and apologized to each other? And now want commitment and a healthy relationship? And are genuine about it.
They bailed out of the blue. Here’s why
