+TheCodedtestament I love the BoF series and though the third game was great, I felt that the ending was a bit anti-climatic and a bit lacking compared to the others in the series. They could have ended it better then that.

But look what Deis says. Even she said Myria protected the world. So it wasn't really about right and wrong for once. Besides the Desert Of Death was such an epic part of the game, led up so well to the final area(s).

It was the first time I remember fighting an an end boss where the lines of good and evil were not concrete. Myria had her reasons. If you go through and look at everything back in the days of Caer Xhan a huge world war broke out. Now Myria, her sister and the dragons who had once been together had this Prime Directive thing going on. (Only to observe I guess) Once things looked like the humans weren't going to make it Myria, who had developed an attachment to humanity snapped. She subdued her sister and attacked the dragons with biological lifeforms and humans who had rallied around her as a savior. This creates an interesting role reversal. Myria is a tyrant but her love of humans is sincere. The dragons on the other hand couldn't give a shit. Thier philosophy is humans aren't special. They are just like every other living thing. This isn't to say they would intentionally go out of thier way to hurt humans. They would just not lift a finger to help them should they be in crisis. Interference to them is morally wrong. This can be seen as far as taking down Myria. It was not done to help humans (or demihumans). It was like ripping out a feeding tube to see if the patient survives on thier own.

Never played the game, but the pre-fight dialog made it seem like Myria was a controlling parent to humanity. Not allowed to do some things, but at least you're protected. And if she doesn't protect them, they face certain death. I'd much rather prefer the former.

Essentially Myria is like any over protective, controlling, harsh parent ever on a grand Goddess scale. Basically it if you really think about it.

I never got that from the Brood. There still is a connection to the original Ryu, and it's seen as payback what she did (also for the defeat of Deathevn who could have also come back later). They just wanted peace, but they were hunted down by her agents and oppressed, isolated in the end. Look what she did with Teepo! Could that ever be acceptable?!

the brood did care about humans,true they had no special reverence for them like Myra did....but they held back BECAUSE they cared for the fate of the world,they understood the true extent of thier own power,even the elder admitted that Myra was probubly right to be afraid of them...and they respected that. they knew that if they fought back with everything they had the world would be annihilated in the process..this is why they were so pacifistic..the dragons wars were not a war at all,it was a massacre and genocide.

It would be morally wrong. They would have stayed out of human wars because the side the brood was on would've been too powerful and unfair. We is horrible to begin with and humans with their sins of entitlement would never fix that.

The final song of this boss easily occupies the top 3 on my list, the 1st is One Winged Angel from Final Fantasy VII, the 2nd is by Myria, and the 3rd is by Jecht from Final Fantasy X.

My favorite BOF! In this one you truly are respected as a powerful Dragon, and the transformation options are amazing, you actually battle as a Dragon... this series has an incredible potential as a console game or even a mobile game - just look at the massive income of Ragnarok Mobile - but Capcom completely abandoned it...

Honestly, you are so lucky, with the "tactic" you used, you were at risk at all times... Aura spends 20 mp, but in kaiser mode this is 3k health points on every single attack... with warrior and raising up power, this is 1,8k more or less... and Garr has a very low level (maybe 35-40), because every single attack was a shame!

BOF 3 é um rpg muito bom, porém o final foi muito fraco e pobre, infelizmente mesmo. O final poderia mostrar: Peco tornando-se uma Yggdrasil e restaurando o deserto; A estátua de Garr em um penhasco no deserto restaurado, ou Peco poderia devolver a vida de Garr como Yggdrasil; Ryu e Nina se casando em Wyndia ou Ryu sumindo por ter terminado sua missão na luta contra o mal ou se tornado rei na sua cidade Dragnair; Momo soltaria fogos com a bazooka no final em alguma comemoração conforme idéia adotada acima; Rei poderia viver isolado em floresta ou fazer parte do exército de Wyndia ou viver em Dragnair;

Thomas Neves O final é fraco mesmo, mas o Peco germinando bem no fim ficou perfeito. Garr permaneceu em forma de pedra, é o destino final dos Guardiões, não tinha o que mostrar. Mas podiam ter explorado mais o romance Ryu + Nina.

A cara, eu to ligado na questão dos Guardiões morrerem quando Myria morre, mas neste caso o poder de Peco seria uma "força de exceçao" devido a ser uma força muito "revitalizante, de vida e de esperança" e sem contar que a força opositora de Myria sumiu, no sentido de atrapalhar a Yggdrasil, e assim traria Garr de volta "manolo", mesmo que isso fuja do sentido do vínculo entre Myria e os Guardiões. E saindo do assunto do zeramento em si, mas não de deixando de ter a ver com o zeramento, convenhamos que deveria ter um new game+, Teepo nas formas de criança e adulto como personagem secreto , e que alguns estágios e cidades extras fossem abertos através dos check points inacessíveis, o final do trilho do trem de Dauna Mine que se vê no mapa-mundo dá aquela ideia que parece que vai ter algo a maias depois dos trilhos a ser explorado Nem que tivesse um CD 2 pra por estas "paradas"

Akira Tadokoro Nine gets useless by mid game. My 3rd character is either Garr (high HP + strong attack that makes easier to explore) or Momo for bosses.

CidGuerreiro1234 When Ryu was a kid. I had a team of Momo/Garr and Peco. Peco canbe pretty powerful if you do train him. Momo stayed mostly in my party. Rei stayed allot as well, since I like my speedsters.

Akira Tadokoro I don't find Rei very useful but if you develop his speed just a bit, using him with the Chain formation grants an Ex turn against literally every enemy in the game, including Myria and the Dragon Lord. It doesn't get any more overpowered than this.
